教学内容分析及课时分配建议:
本话题围绕业余爱好而展开。主要内容包括:由Helen和 Wen Wei谈论空闲时间做什么引出话题--What’s your hobby 在孩子们谈论业余爱好的过程中,引出本话题的语法知识used to do sth.和本话题的功能“喜欢和不喜欢”。本话题除了介绍常见的业余爱好。如:集邮、收藏物品、饲养宠物等还介绍了另类有趣的业余爱好。如:制作剪贴薄。还要求学生制作班级薄来培养学生的动手能力。通过学习本话题,学生能够交流有关业余爱好的信息,丰富自己的业余生活。
本话题建议用5个课时来完成:
第一课时:Section A—1a,1b,1c,1d
第二课时:Section B—1a,1b,1c,2,3
第三课时:Section A—2,3a,3b,Section B-4a,4b

教学设计思路:
本课主要是引入话题,语法和词汇相对较少。虽然是新的话题,但学生可以用已学的句型来表达。首先通过师生问答,让学生畅谈自己的业余活动,老师总结导入到业余爱好的话题,并通过图片解决新词汇。然后引导学生归纳表达业余爱好的句型并让学生小组操练。有了足够的信息输入以后,就让学生完成1b,1c和1d的听力技能训练。为了巩固课堂内容,完成了听力任务后,还增加了替换式的角色扮演。最后师生一起回顾和总结本课内容完成本课时。

教学设计思路:
本课主要是继续学习表达喜欢和不喜欢以及used to do 句型。首先让学生汇报家人的业余爱好,检查学生的掌握情况。然后通过师生问答和图片导入新课。接着完成1b的听力任务。随后速读1a,训练学生快速查找信息的能力,完成1c。接下来再精读1a,找出并解决难点词和句子。完成了1a后,直接完成2的听力训练。3是本课的重点,先小组交流,然后再以汇报的形式来操练used to do 句型和喜欢、不喜欢的句型。最后师生总结,完成本课时。

本课主要是继续学习表达喜欢做某事的句型及业余爱好。首先让学生列举所学过的表示喜欢的句型,并让学生进行同义句转换练习,为完成2做准备。完成了2后,让学生先看3a的图片说短语,学习新词汇后立即完成3a的听力任务。通过2和3a两个活动,学生已经为3b的结对活动做好了准备。于是紧接着让学生进行对活动完成3b。最后进行4a和4b 的语音训练,完成本课时。
