Which animals are smart Your answer may be dogs or elephants. Now, sheep can appear on the list.Scientists said that sheep could recognize(识别) people's faces by training(训练) many times, the BBC reported.
Before testing, scientists let the sheep take a look at the pictures of four famous people, including American scientist Thomas Edison and Italian painter Leonardo da Vinci. Then the sheep went into a room with two computers. One computer showed a famous person and the other showed an unknown person. The sheep usually walked towards the computer with the famous person.
After knowing the animals' ability to recognize famous people, scientists gave them a new mission. The scientists showed them the pictures of the same people from different angles(角度).They wanted to see if the farm animals could rightly recognize the same people from different angles. The animals did a good job. They recognized them though they were a bit slower to recognize the pictures than before.
Finally, the scientists wanted to know if the sheep could recognize their trainers from photos. They showed photos of their trainers on the computer with some unknown faces, and the sheep could recognize their trainers. The result showed that the sheep, like monkeys and humans, had the ability to recognize people.
The scientists said it might be interesting in the future to find out if sheep could recognize different signs on people's faces. And they would try to do some tests about it.

Elephants are smart and friendly. They
are an important part of our world. But we
won't be able to see them soon if people keep
killing them for ivory(象牙). We should save them, not only for animals in the world but also for ourselves. We should do with the problems such as cutting down trees, killing and buying. Let's try our best to stop all these before it is too late.

2. Write and draw the poster on a piece of A4 paper with the information above. Try to keep the poster clean and tidy.
