Our Oceans, Our Responsibility
June 8th was officially named by the UN in 2009 as World Oceans Day. Obviously, it attaches great importance to ocean protection.
The oceans are to our human beings what water is to fish. Not only does it provide us with abundant resources, but it also plays a role in maintaining the balance of our ecosystem. Unfortunately, as our economy advances, recent years have seen the oceans being polluted. Therefore, it is high time that we took measures to protect the oceans. Countries should team up with one another to work out practical plans regarding ocean protection. It is mu firm belief that only with joint efforts can we have a better tomorrow.
