(一)人称代词的用法
(1)人称代词的主格在句中充当主语。如:
She is a teacher.她是一名老师。
(2)人称代词的宾格在句中充当动词或介词的宾语。如:
She often helps him.她常帮助他。
人称代词的排列顺序
几个人称代词并列充当主语时,它们的顺序是:
①单数时:第二人称—>第三人称—>第一人称
you, he and I 我、你、他
②复数时:第一人称—>第二人称—>第三人称
we, you and they 我们、你们和他们
③名词—>人称代词 the teacher and she她和老师
④人称代词—>其他代词 he, I and some others 我、他和一些别的人
物主代词的用法
形容词性物主代词在句中作定语修饰名词,一般不单独使用。使用时要注意与其所指代的词保持人称和数的一致。
They have done their best.他们已经尽力了。
名词性物主代词可作主语、宾语或表语,使用时注意与其所指代的词保持人称和数的一致,而且名词性物主代词后不得加名词。相当于形容词性物主代词+名词。
Theirs is a small classroom.[主语] 他们的(教室)是个小教室。
The book is mine.[宾语] 这本书是我的。
Best wishes for you and yours.[宾语] 向你和你家人问好。
反身代词的用法
反身代词可作宾语、表语或同位语:
I can’t express myself in English.[宾语] 我不能用英语表达自己。
He is not quite himself.[表语] 他身体不太好。
She herself went there(或She went there herself).[主语的同位语]
她亲自去了那儿。
注:反身代词的常用词组:
teach oneself自学 learn by oneself自学 help oneself to随便吃
enjoy oneself过得愉快;玩得高兴 by oneself亲自
指示代词的用法
this (these)指代时间或空间上较近的人或物,that(those)指代时间或空间上较远的人或物。This is my pen.这是我的钢笔。
this和that都可指上文提到过的事情,但若指下文要提到的事情,只能用this。
We have no time to do it.That (This) is our trouble.
我们没有时间去做,这就是我们的问题。
Please remember this: No pains, no gains.请记住:不劳则无获。
打电话时用this介绍自己,that询问对方。
This is Mike speaking. 我是Mike。Who is that 你是谁?
不定代词的用法
(1) some与any:some和any均可以表示“一些”,some和any既可以修饰可数名词复数又可以修饰不可数名词,some用于肯定句中,any用于否定句和疑问句中,some还可用在预料得到肯定回答的疑问句中,例如:
-Would you like some tea 你想要一些茶吗?
-Yes, please.好的,谢谢。/No, thanks.不用,谢谢。
(2)many、much、(a) few和(a) little
many, (a) few修饰可数名词复数,much, (a) little修饰不可数名词
※many或(a) few作主语,谓语用复数;much或(a) little作主语,谓语用单数。
后接可数名词 后接不可数名词
肯定 a few(有一些) a little(有一点儿)
否定 few(几乎没有) little(几乎没有)
(六)both, all, either和neither
both表示对两者的肯定; both A and B; both of...
neither表示对两者的否定。
Both (of you) are right. (你们)两人全对。
Neither student gives the answer.两个学生都没给答案。
(七)each和every(every 不属于代词)
each和every都表示“每一个”。
each可指两个或两个以上中间的“每个”既可作代词,又可作形容词,强调个体。every只指两个以上中间的“每个”只作形容词,强调整体。
两者修饰名词时谓语动词用单数形式。

Every不与of连用
Each (student) has a dictionary.每个人(每个学生)都有本字典。
Every student has a dictionary.每个学生(即全体学生)都有本字典。
(八)none和no(no不属于代词)
none“没有一个人(或东西)” (作主语时谓语可单数也可复数); no“没有”加在名词前,是形容词,只作定语。
-Is there any sugar 还有糖吗? -No, there’s none.不,一点儿也没有。
None of us are/is afraid of difficulties.我们当中没有一个人害怕困难。
There are no clouds in the sky.天上一点儿云也没有。
I have no money.我没有钱。
(九)other, the other, others, the others和another
意义 用法说明
Other 另外的;其他的;别的 只作定语,常与复数名词或不可数名词连用;other students
the other 两者中的另一个 He has two sons. One is a teacher, the other is a doctor. 常与one连用,构成“one...,the other...”;作定语修饰复数名词时,表示“其余的全部”
others 泛指别的人或物 是other的复数形式,泛指别的人或物(但不是全部),不能作定语,可以构成some...others...结构。
the others 特指其余的人或物 是the other 的复数形式,特指其余的人或物
another 再一的;任何一个; 另一个 后面加单数名词。没有固定的范围。指三者或三者以上中的任何一个,用作形容词或代词。
例:My other sister is a doctor.我的另一个妹妹是医生。
Are there any other questions 还有其他问题没有?
I have two pens. One is blue.The other (pen) is black.
我有两支钢笔。一支是蓝色的,另一支是黑色的。
Some cleaned the windows, others mopped the floor.
有的擦窗户,有的擦地板。
This dictionary is better than the others.这本字典比其他的好。
(十)复合不定代词:(初中阶段常用复合不定代词列表)
somebody(某人) anybody(某人/任何人) nobody(没有人) everybody(每人)

something(某事) anything(某事/任何事) nothing(没有东西) everything (每一件事)
复合不定代词:可用作主语(配用单数动词)、宾语和表语;被定语修
饰时,定语须放在其后面。
Nobody is absent.[主语] 没人缺席。

[宾语,important是其定语]报纸上发现什么重要消息了吗?
That’s nothing.[表语]没什么。
※something,anything和somebody,anybody在用法上的区别,与some和any的区别相同。
