Step 1: 导入新课
T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you today
Ss: Good morning, teacher! We are fine, thank you. And you
T: I’m fine, too. Thank you. Today is the first day of our new term. Are you excited
Ss: Yes, we are!
T: Great! Let’s say “Welcome back to school!” to each other. (引导学生相互问候)
Step 2: 呈现新课
T: (出示图片或实物) Look, who is coming to school
Ss: Amy and Zhang Peng.
T: Yes, they are our new friends. Let’s welcome them together. “Welcome back to school, Amy! Welcome back to school, Zhang Peng!”
Ss: (跟读并模仿) Welcome back to school, Amy! Welcome back to school, Zhang Peng!
T: Now, let’s listen to the dialogue and see what they are talking about. (播放对话录音)
Step 3: 对话学习
T: (引导学生观察图片并提问) Who is this boy
Ss: He is Zhang Peng.
T: And who is this girl
Ss: She is Amy.
T: Right. Now, let’s read the dialogue together and find out what they say to each other. (带领学生朗读对话)
T: Amy introduces a new friend to Zhang Peng. Can you guess who is the new friend
Ss: (尝试猜测) Is it Sarah Is it John
T: Let’s listen again and find out. (再次播放录音,引导学生找到答案)
T: So, who is Amy’s new friend
Ss: It’s John.
T: That’s right. Now, let’s practice the dialogue in pairs. (学生分角色练习对话)
Step 4: 语言实践
T: Now, I want you to work in groups. Each group chooses two students to act as Amy and Zhang Peng, and introduce a new friend to the class. (学生分组进行角色扮演,介绍新朋友)
T: (巡视指导,鼓励学生大胆表达) Remember to use the sentences we learned today.
Step 5: 总结与作业
T: Today, we learned how to welcome our friends back to school and introduce new friends. I hope you can use these sentences in your daily life.
