学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第四单元，本单元学习的主题是“When is the art show”。本单元重点学习有关节日和生日的话题， 并将话题延伸到谈论节日和生日所在的日期。上个单元， 学生已经学习了12个月份的单词以及一些节日及节日所在的月份。本单元继续学习有关节日所在的具体日期和学习1~31的序数词和日期表达法。本单元是在复习以前学过的一些月份和部分序数词的基础上，注重学习具体日期的英语表达方式，学习序数词与基数词的转换规律。五年级学生已积累了一定的英语学习经验和语言知识储备，初步具备了运用所学语言知识进行简单交流的能力，能够根据学习进展对学习计划和策略进行调整，尝试找到适合自己的英语学习方法。此外，关于节日、生日、活动的话题也较贴近学生的生活实际，是学生乐于参与学习、讨论的话题。五年级的学生活泼好动、对新话题充满兴趣，喜欢表现自我，勇于挑战，他们对本单元的话题并不陌生，这些节日和活动在校园生活中和家庭生活中时常发生。在进行本单元的教学过程中，应该有意识地帮助学生体会并表达自己喜欢的节日和活动，培养学生热爱集体、孝敬长辈、关心家人、热情好客等行为品质，提高学生的跨文化交际能力和综合语用能力。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题，深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)，twelfth(12th), twentieth(20th), twenty-first(21st), twenty- third(23rd), thirtieth(30th)等 。在单元主题意义的引领下，以“节日和生日” 为主题，教师创设贴近学生学习生活的真实情境，设计层层深入的教学活动，谈论节日和生日所在的日期。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A learnfirst(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)When is the.. . 语篇研读（附图）
本节课是语音篇， 主要学习字母组合th的正确发音。 通过观察、分析、发现字母组合th的发音规律，然后拓展其他相应单词的发音、并通过形式多样化的教学活动巩固强化记忆字母组合th的发音规则，如：听音、看视频、玩游戏、书写、读绘本、表演。进行发现式的学习，观察、感知、体验并自己总结归纳出字母组合th的正确发音的规则。本阶段活动旨在帮助学生旨在帮助学生在语篇中通过感知核心语言到运用自然拼读自然习得核心词汇。学生在教师的指导下进行听音匹配、图文匹配、启发拼读，从大意到细节逐步理解篇章内容，由义及形，由形及音逐步习得新词，同时分析、推理等语言思维也得到有效发展。学生通过自主研读语篇到自主拼读单词、跟读进一步理解、内化核心语言，为下一步语言输出奠定基础。
教学过程
核心素养教学目标 语言知识目标: 能听说认读和正确书写代表单词three, thin, thirteen, maths,this, that, mother, brother，能根据发音规则拼读出更多此类单词。说唱let’s chant部分的小诗并根据所学发音规律完成课堂练习有意识地运用所学字、词、句，培养“能听会说英语”的能力语言知识目标:1.能在图片和文本语境的帮助下，学习字母组合th的两种发音 2.能根据发音规则认读代表单词three, thin, thirteen, maths,this, that, mother, brother。（二）思维能力目标： 1. 能在教师引导下，学习字母组合th的两种发音及代表单词three, thin, thirteen, maths,this, that, mother, brother等单词，2. 能完成Listen, number and say,Choose, write and say部分课本练习， 巩固所学语音知识等（四）文化品格目标：1.通过游戏和小组合作等活动，学会与他人合作学习的能力2.了解英语的语言表达，体会不同的语言魅力，促进心智发展。3.激发学生对语音、拼写的兴趣，从而喜欢学英语。
重点 能够图片和音频的帮助下，听懂、会说、会认字母组合th的两种发音及代表单词three, thin, thirteen, maths,this, that, mother, brother等单词的正确书写和发音。
难点 能熟练th的两种发音拼读出更多此类单词等并唱出chant，能养成良好的书写习惯。
