This semester, I enrolled in an weekly English Literature Reading Class launched by our school.
Immersing us in an atmosphere of English literature, this extracurricular course is designed to spark students’ interest in literature as well as enhance reading quantity. With a string of classic works ranging from Dickens’s novels to Whitman’s poems, this class serves as a platform where we engage in group readings, conduct heated discussions, and perform role plays. To be honest, the lesson ignites my passion for English learning, thus my language proficiency enhanced, and my deep appreciation for literature cultivated.
