Basketball is popular with us. And it becomes an important part in our school life now. Last week, our class had a basketball game against Class Five.
I took an active part in this game. Because I prefer playing basketball and do well in it. Before the game, all the teammates did their best to prepare for it. To win the game, I also spent two hours practicing skills and exercising. During the match, both our teammates and the players in Class Five tried our best. Suddenly, a player of Class Five knocked me over. I fell on the ground. I hurt my left leg. But I still kept competing. At last, we won the first place. We were very excited. It was really an exciting game.
Nowadays, more and more people enjoy doing sports. Because it’s a good way to keep fit. Yao Ming is my hero. He did his best in each match. I’m going to be a basketball player like him when I grow up. I will do more exercise every day and I hope some day I’ll be able to join in the Olympics.
