It's highly possible that robots will be used to help human teachers in the near future. That's according to a study by scientists from universities in the USA, Japan and Europe. The study has looked up more than 100 published articles, which have shown robots to be effective (有效) in increasing learning results.
Because of pressures on teaching budgets (预算), and calls for more personalized teaching, scientists have started to build robots for the classroom-not the robots used to learn about technology and math, but social robots that can actually teach. The study shows robots are skilled in teaching certain subjects, such as vocabulary and numbers.
Robots can free up time for teachers, allowing them to focus on what people still do best.
Recent developments in China may provide us with a glimpse (一瞥) of the future.
The Hong Kong-based English language newspaper, South China Morning Post, has reported some kindergartens (幼儿园) across China have used AI robots to help interact with their pupils.
The AI robots interact with the young children by playing games with them, singing, dancing, reading stories, carrying out conversations and even doing math.
Since 2016, the AI robots have been used in about 200 kindergartens across China, the newspaper reported.
So can we expect to see robots helping us at school How soon will it be before you see a robot in a classroom near you

2.Let’s go back in time to Baskerville Hall. When I see the portrait ( 肖像 ) of Hugo Baskerville in the dining room I know that Stapleton is a Baskerville, too. Indeed Stapleton is a son of Rodger Baskerville, the younger brother of Sir Charles. Rodger runs away and disappears. No one knows that he marries and has a child. The child is Stapleton and his real name is Rodger Baskerville, like his father.
There Stapleton discovers that only two people—Sir Charles and Sir Henry, separate him from the Baskerville fortune. Soon he gets close to Sir Charles Baskerville. Old Sir Charles tells Stapleton about the legend of the hound ( 猎犬 ) and prepares the way for his own death. Stapleton knows that the old man’s heart is weak. And he also knows that Sir Charles believes the legend of the hound. And so he gets the idea to frighten Sir Charles to death with a hound.
Stapleton buys the huge dog in London and takes it to Devon by train. He walks across the moor with it to make sure no one sees him with the dog. He finds a hiding place for the animal in the old tin mine (锡矿). And he keeps his hound there while he is waiting for his chance.
He paints the dog with phosphorus ( 磷), and gets it to jump over the small gate and run after Sir Charles. The huge black creature is a dreadful sight. Sir Charles runs away screaming and falls dead on the path from shock (震惊). Then Stapleton takes the hound back to its hiding place, so Sir Charles’s death is a mystery to all.

I had a sudden urge(情不自禁)to write a letter to President Xi,” Su told Peopled Daily. “I really want to thank him from the bottom of my heart.” In his letter to Xi, Su said he would keep working hard and serve the nation.
In 2019, Xi met with athletes and coaches at the National Winter Sports Training Center in Beijing. Su was one of the athletes. What impressed Su most was that Xi “told us to aim high and to show the new generation(一代人)of Chinese youth on the world stage”.

China’s first Mars rover (火星巡视器), Zhurong, drove down to the Martian surface at 10:40 a.m. (Beijing Time), May 22 and started exploring (探索), leaving the first mark of China on the red planet. It marched 0.522 meters on the surface of Mars to mark the important date.
Zhurong looks like a beautiful blue butterfly (蝴蝶). It is 3.3 meters long, 3.2 meters wide and 1.85 meters high. It has a three-Martian day cycle: first day for environmental perception (感知环境), second day for movement, and the last for scientific exploration.
Because of the bad Martian environment, Zhurong can work only one to two hours each time. It has to face a number of difficulties in order to work on Mars, such as the bad sunlight, low temperature, bad Earth-Mars communication and sand storms. For example, Zhurong cannot be controlled in real time. That makes its communication with the Earth really hard. The temperature on Mars falls below -130℃ a night. It’s also a huge challenge for Zhurong. What’s more, the wind on Mars could reach 180 meters a second, which is more than three times faster than a super typhoon (台风) on Earth. Such winds could start huge sand storms. These sand storms make Zhurong’s work harder. To deal with these difficulties, Zhurong works by itself for most of the time.
(1) Why did Zhurong march 0.522 meters on the surface of Mars ________________
(2) What does Zhurong look like ____________________________
(3) What is the size of Zhurong ____________________________
