从2023年河南中考英语完形填空的首句“It was a rainy, windy October afternoon. Garth stood outside his house with a wide smile.”
例如:(2023 河南)“Maybe Todd was 46 …in reality, who would ever need his invention?” He lowered his head and thought to himself. Suddenly he 47 and saw a lady looking at him. “I was just leaving my house 48 I saw you and those boys. Are you okay?”
逻辑关系包括并列、原因、结果、让步、转折、时间顺序、目的、条件、选择等,依靠不同的连词来表达,如and,but,so,however,since,because,first of all,then,finally,for example,or等,它们在文章中起着“篇章纽带”的作用,可以作为做完形填空题的路标。
例如:(2023 河南) …for testing his new invention—Umbrella Hat. He could hardly wait to see whether it could keep the rain off. He carefully 42 the hat on his head and started walking…
42.A.raised B.placed C.dropped D.repaired
由空后的“the hat on his head” 可知,他把雨伞帽戴到头上了。raise “举起;饲养”;place “放置”;drop “掉落”;repair“修理,修补”。
(2023 河南) “I will display (展示) three best inventions in my shop. I'm sure you will have a(n) 54 of winning
a prize.”
54.A.choice B.chance C.excuse D.experience

If someone speaks out of turn, other students might not be able to hear the teacher 69 . School rules can help students prepare for their own futures as well.
从2023年河南中考英语完形填空的首句“It was a rainy, windy October afternoon. Garth stood outside his house with a wide smile.”
例如:(2023 河南)“Maybe Todd was 46 …in reality, who would ever need his invention?” He lowered his head and thought to himself.Suddenly he 47 and saw a lady looking at him. “I was just leaving my house 48 I saw you and those boys. Are you okay?”
逻辑关系包括并列、原因、结果、让步、转折、时间顺序、目的、条件、选择等,依靠不同的连词来表达,如and,but,so,however,since,because,first of all,then,finally,for example,or等,它们在文章中起着“篇章纽带”的作用,可以作为做完形填空题的路标。
例如:(2023 河南) …for testing his new invention—Umbrella Hat. He could hardly wait to see whether it could keep the rain off. He carefully 42 the hat on his head and started walking…
42.A.raised B.placed C.dropped D.repaired
由空后的“the hat on his head” 可知,他把雨伞帽戴到头上了。raise “举起;饲养”;place “放置”;drop “掉落”;repair“修理,修补”。
(2023 河南) “I will display (展示) three best inventions in my shop. I'm sure you will have a(n) 54 of winning a prize.”
54.A.choice B.chance C.excuse D.experience

Every school has rules for students to follow. 61 , some students may see the rules as a way which teachers control them. Sometimes, they’re unhappy and even feel 62 . Well, if you think your life is hard, you might think about the 63 in ancient times. For some of them, life was really hard.
In the old days, people believed that teachers had to be very 64 and had the right to punish the students. If children didn’t do what they were 65 to do and the teachers punished them, their parents would not mind. Often, the stricter a teacher was, the more parents thought he or she was a good teacher.
In fact, following school rules can be very important. For example, running in the hall could cause a student to fall down. The student may hurt 66 or another person. Following the rules can also help the students in the classroom to learn 67 difficulty. In class, a teacher may ask students to 68 their hands before they speak. If someone speaks out of turn, other students might not be able to hear the teacher 69 . School rules can help students prepare for their own futures as well. When they grow up and 70 on their own, they’ll soon find that they still need to follow rules.
Rules make the world much better. If there are no rules, life will be meaningless and in disorder.
