Read the passage and answer the questions.
1. Between this building and the dining hall is the classroom building with twenty-four classrooms.
这幢楼和餐厅之间是教学楼，里面有24间教室。
between是一个介词，常和and连用,构成短语between…and…，表示“在……和……之间”, 用于两者之间。
e.g.：
I am between Tom and Lucy in the picture.
2. with也是一个介词，意思是“有”，表示一种附属关系。
e.g.：
My uncle has a big house with a garden.
我叔叔有一个带花园的大房子。
3. In the middle of the school a big playground. 学校中间是一个大操场。
in the middle of
表示“在……的中间”。
4. What’s +地点？表示“在某地有什么？”
例如：-What’s in the library
-There are many books in the library.
5. on one’s left/right
表示“在某人的左侧/右侧”。
on the left/right of ….
表示“在……的左侧/右侧”。
例如：on his left

6. 在……的前面
in front of (范围外)
in the front of (范围内)
The science lab is in front of the library.
科学实验室在图书馆前面。 (图书馆的前面)
There is a map in the front of the classroom.
在教室前面有张地图。(教室里面的前面)
there be 句型表示“…… 地方有……”
e.g.：There are many books, maps and
computers in the library.
There is some milk in the bottle.
结构：“there is/are +某物/人+地点”
Tip: be的确定是其后第一个名词的单复数而定。

there be结构的否定在be后面加not,
一般疑问句是把be提前。
e.g.： There is a computer on the desk.
There is not a computer on the desk.

there be结构的特殊疑问句是在一般疑问句的前面加 how many +可数名词复数/
how much+ 不可数名词。
e.g.：
There are six buildings in our school.

It用来代替单数名词或不可数名词。
