学情分析
本教材从第八模块开始接触一般过去式，学生对过去时态的意义，be动词和实义动词的用法以及变化规则已经能够熟练地掌握，而且学生对伟人Shakespeare 的生平有着想要了解的
兴趣，这成为这节课最好的铺垫。
效果分析
通过这节课的学习，学生在复习的基础上又进一步加深了对一般过去时的理解。并能够在实际语言环境中进行交际和运用。通过阅读英国著名作家莎士比亚的生活经历，能够读懂简单的人物传记，提高阅读能力。通过对自己和他人生活经历的描述，进一步掌握一般过去时的表达方式，提高写作能力。
通过讲为辅练为主，讲练结合的方式把课堂交给了学生，大大提高了学生学习的自主性，充分体现了以学生为主体的教学思路。本节课通过这种形式的学习，也进一步证明了发挥学生主动性，自主性的重要性。同学们围绕人物的生平展开热烈的讨论，既练习了一般过去时的句型又锻炼了英语语言表达能力，增强了学生学习英语的兴趣和信心。
教学反思
通过本节的学习，使多数学生掌握了本单元的词汇、句型以及课文中的语言点，但个别对课文中的语言点掌握不够。

外研版教材有一个极明显的特点，就是每模块三个单元，由浅入深，话题性强，注重题材，和功能的多样性，而且很符合初中生的年龄特点，本模块以生活经历为话题，能力。本课是第二单元，重点在培养学生的听读写的能力。

我从以下几个纬度进行了观课：有效地阅读教学、在老师创设的各种情景中，进行有效的阅读练习、 课堂结构与时间分配。
根据我的观察记录，我认为本节课的基本上贯穿了阅读教学。能够让学生在预设的情境中进行读写练习，能够调动学生的积极性，学生能主动参与课堂并进行有效的练习。教学过程中也是始终紧密的围绕本单元的主题而展开，应该说整个教学过程，始终围绕能力而展开，感觉流畅且主题鲜明。让学生在老师创设的各种情景中，进行有效的阅读教学。
根据观察记录分析，我认为这节课在创设情景方面就是以促进学生学习、运用所学语言出发的。这极大的调动了学生参与课堂活动的积极性。因此后面的一系列活动都围绕能力而展开，语言学习也是非常顺利的进行。情景教学贯穿了整个课堂教学的过程，在最后的语言输出是做一个调查表，充分运用了所学内容。通过情景认识新词汇语义，板书对学生视觉拼读的作用，教材资源对学生认读的作用，认读活动的趣味性，教师培养学生认读及写作能力的意识性都很强。
根据观察记录分析，我认为这节课在结构和时间分配上基本合理。学生能够在教师预设的情境中进行有效练习。课前热身环节用时3分钟，导入2分钟，新知呈现8分钟，课文学习20分钟，拓展5分钟，小结与布置作业共用时3分钟，共用时41分钟。能够在规定时间内完成教学任务，时间略显紧促。

Shakespeare was born in 1564 in Stratford, England. Like many people 400 years ago, Shakespeare’s parents didn’t learn to read or write. At school he liked plays, so he decided to be an actor when he finished school at fourteen. He married in 1582 and had three children.
The life of William ShakespeareShakespeare went to London and joined a theatre company in about 1592. He became a successful actor and began to write plays. Queen Elizabeth I enjoyed his works very much.
In 1599 the company built the Globe Theatre on the River Thames in London. You can visit the theatre today, but it isn’t the same building. There was a fire in the old theatre. They built it again in 1614 and in the 1990s.
William Shakespeare died at the age of fifty-two. He was rich and successful. You can still see his plays in English and in many other languages. He’ famous around the world.
