学情分析 初中生对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很大的不稳定性,好奇心强,求知欲望胜,对刺激记忆手段多的知识记忆深刻,而且学生在七年级上册已经学过关于“What does he like?”这一特殊疑问句式,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提,能自然地与本单元话题进行衔接。谈论人的外表形象是人们日常生活中遇到的话题。因此学生喜于用英语表达此类知识。 教法、学法设计 1.教法说明 教法 (1)任务型语言教学法:设计多种任务活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究学习(为用而学,在用中学,学了能用)。 ?(2)开放性教学法:我开放性地处理教材,结合教材插入学生感兴趣的卡通图片,采用创设情景,问题牵引,主动探究,综合提高的教学模式。丰富学生知识,拓宽他们视野,实现知识的整合。 2.学法 ? (1)自主学习:能根据需要进行有目的预习,使其对教师的教学内容起补充作用。 ? (2)合作探究学习:在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。 ? (3)通过观察图片实际应用单词和句型,介绍自己喜欢的人等一系列活动,创设情景激发学生的学习热情,培养他们的概括和推理能力,发挥他们自己的主观能动性,把被动的学习变为主动学习,让学生巩固所学语言知识。

一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词: curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy, build, little, glasses.
2) 能掌握以下句型:
—What does he look like?
—He’s of medium/build.
—What does he look like?
—She has long straight hair.
—Is he tall or short?
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
掌握单词,熟练掌握描述人的形象的句型。
2. 教学难点:
掌握描述人的形象的句型。
三、教学过程
Step1 Warm up the class.
Good morning, boys and girls. (Ss: Good morning, Helen.) Do you like to look at pictures?( Ss: Yes.) OK.
Step2 Learn the new words
Let’s enjoy some pictures. The child has curly hair. curly,follow me, please. Read at least three times. The girl has straight hair. straight. The same way to learn the words. Such as height, build ,tall, thin, heavy. The woman is heavy and she wears glasses. That woman is of medium build and she is of medium height. Learn the phrases medium build and of medium height. in the sentences.
Check the words. Look at the pictures again .Who can read the words?
Step3 Memory Challenge
Let’s have a memory challenge. Watch carefully and try to remember the main words and phrases. Maybe they can’t remember all the words . They need to watch again. The second time all the students can read quickly. After watching, Ask: Who can try ? For example” 1 tall ; 6 long hair; 11short hair. At least three. The more ,the better. Ask three students to act in front of the class.
Step4 Introduce myself
I’m very glad you remember so many English words . Would you like me to introduce myself? OK. Now I introduce myself. Let all the students look at my photo and me. I introduce: I’m not tall or short. I am of medium height. I’m not heavy or thin. I am of medium build. I don’t have curly hair. I have long straight hair. Follow me ,please. After reading, Ask: Can you introduce yourself?
Step5 Practice
Ask: Can you introduce yourself? Let the Ss look at the flash and try to introduce themselves. They can do it like this: I am tall/ short /of medium height. I am heavy/ thin /of medium build. Let the Ss do it in pairs.(the teacher joins the pairs.) Then let some pairs come to the front and introduce themselves. At least three pairs.
Step5 Listen
Boys and girls, let’s listen and find Amy’s friend. OK? First listen and fill in the blanks. Are you ready? Go. Ask: Who can tell me your answer? Go on to listen .Look at 2a. Listen and answer the questions. Let the Ss read the three questions first, Then let them listen and answer. Look at 2b. Listen and fill in the chart. At last , Say: Your listening is very good.
Step6 Role-play the conversation
Give the Ss two questions of 2d. Let them read quickly and try to answer the questions. Then let them read the conversation two sides. One is Mike, the other is Tony. Then change the position.
Step7 Practice
Ask: class, do you know any famous men? Let them describe three famous men. They are Yao Ming, Xiao Shenyang and Pan Changjiang. Let them make sentences with is or has.
Step 8 Play a game.
Guess! Who is my friend? Ask one student to come to the front to say : My friend is tall . He/ She is of medium build. He/ She has straight hair. Can you guess? Who is my friend in our class? Ask at least students to do it.
Step9 Summary
The teacher asks : Class, What have we learned this class?

First let the Ss say what they have remember, then show the parts. At last , let them read together.
Step10 Check
Do some exercises. Let the Ss take out their notebooks and try to write down the answers. Choose one to write on the blackboard.
Step11 Know more about this class
Let the Ss read the three questions.

2. What is he like? He is kind.
3. What does he like? He likes dancing.
All the Ss did very well in this class. So I give you a sentence: A good fame is better than a good face. Let the Ss guess the Chinese meaning.
Step12 Homework
Remember the new words of this class.
Writ a short passage about what your father or mother looks like.

1、教学内容: ???主要学习如何描述人的外表以及与此相关的形容词,短语和相关句型并引出本单元的语法项目——动词have/has和be的用法 2、教材的地位和作用: ????本单元以谈论人的外貌特征为话题。从教材的整合来说,本部分具有承上启下的作用;本课它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元知识扩展和综合语言运用奠定坚实的基础。因此,上好Section A部分,既可让知识学习具有一定的延续性,又可为下面的教学做好铺垫,为以后作可持续交际奠定基础。 3,教学重点,难点及确立依据: ????? 本节课重点是学习表示人的外表的形容词,短语和相关句型。难点是be和have/has 的区别及运用。之所以确立这些为重点,难点,因为它们是本单元的基本语言内容,只有掌握这些相关的单词和句型,才能进行大量的语言实践活动。才能在实际生活中运用。
教学目标分析 根据新课标的要求,结合教材内容及七年级学生的认知特点,我确定目标如下: 1,知识与技能目标:学习表示外表的形容词,短语和句型,并且能应用所学单词和句型。 2,过程与方法目标:培养学生观察,判断,概括,归纳等思维能力,以及对所学语言的表达能力。 3,情感态度与价值观目标:通过教学,进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣,体会学习英语的乐趣,拓展视野,并能正确引导学生不能以貌取人。

本节课根据新课标提出的以人为本的教学理念,把学生的发展作为课堂教学的出发点和归宿,采用任务型教学模式,在真实的情景中培养学生学习英语的能力。注重学生的兴趣,寓教于乐,把掌握知识,形成技能,发展能力与培养学生个性健康发展有机结合起来,让学生在集体合作中,发挥每个人的长处,使学生在合作中能互补、启发,形成立体的、交互的思维网络,产生1+1>2的效果。

效果分析:
第一题,词汇考察,检查学生的拼写heavy,在黑板上写得那一个学生把字母顺序写错了,后来还是有同学看出来,帮助改正过来。
第二题和第三题,考察本课出现的is与has的用法区别,这是本课的重点之一,绝大所数学生掌握的很好。
第四题,词汇考察medium build,学生易错的词组,抽查在黑板上写的同学还是出错了,也正好给其他同学提了醒,避免类似书写错误的再次出现。
第五题,学生在已有条条框框的束缚下,认为句子中有is,提问时一定必须用is,其实不然,语法是为表达服务的,不是死语法。回答:中等个;问题应该问:长得怎么样?即:What does he look like?
从整个效果看,教师精心设计的检测练习还是很有必要的,虽然学生在做题过程中出现了这样那样的失误,但是,学生能从犯错中吸取教训,在错误中成长这也是一件好事。心理学研究表明,学生往往对自己出错后又改正的知识记忆特别深刻。

一、教学目标:

授课思路:首先出示图片学习生词。然后通过自我介绍,自然过度到本课的内容。然后进行1b,2a,2b的听力教学,先听录音,再回答问题、进行复述,让学生先进行知识的输入练习。再通过学生自己的介绍过度对明星人物的外貌特征的描述,然后引导学生自己归纳总结本节课所学习的重点内容,再做一些练习进行巩固;
二、评议:
王慧:本节课课堂气氛活跃,教师语速适中,充分体现出学生主体,老师作为主导的地位。让学生有充分的时间来练习巩固,达到了预期的教学目的。
张素英:学习具体详细,讲练结合,使学生明白目标重难点。在教学中能尽量使用口语教学,板书工整,有条理。在传授新知识时能做到循序渐进。
韩丽:发音清晰,口语流利,教态自然大方,亲和力强,课堂引入自然,环节过度流畅,衔接紧密,板书设计稍有欠缺,分配不怎么合理。
张胜男:教师教态自然,富有亲和力和感染力。复习充分详细、教学形式多样,练习充分。教学中能锻炼学生的听说读写能力、体现学生自主学习的能力,同时也体现了教师的主导地位。

课后反思 张海伦
一上完课,我就深深的感觉到,非常需要反思自己的课堂。本课的核心话题是谈论人的外表形象是教学重点,同时也是教学难点。本课的设计通过创造性运用任务型教学模式,设计多姿多彩的切合学生实际的各种任务,创设情景以提高其听说读写水平。通过学习语言材料,让学生获得了运用所学的有关词汇,短语及句型,描述人的外貌特征,并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用的能力。并借用媒体来提高学生的学习兴趣,让学生通过亲身体验、实践、合作与探究等方式学习英语。使学生确实从学习中学会了如何谈论外貌,同时还学会了识别不同人物外貌特征,丰富了学生生活,同时也是一种真实的体验,增加了学生的语言实践,促进了他们在整个教学活动中主动参与。同时对学生进行了情感教育,要求他们不以貌取人,多发现别人的优点,学会友好地描述别人的形象。
  学生是活动的主体,课堂上大部分的时间交给学生,教师的引导是关键。如何一步步的导入,由易至难的阶梯状任务何时引入,如何引入都是关键所在。同时要注意的是,学生活动之前的范例一定要明确清晰,要每个孩子都知道做什么和怎么做,活动才会顺利的开展,学生才能在活动中有所得。
  在课堂设计上体现了任务型教学的主导思想,以任务贯穿教师教学和学生活动的各个环节。学生活动的目的明确,每个步骤教师都给出了活动所需的语言知识内容,学生亦能准确的使用目标语言,在活动中学习掌握知识。
 ? 但在教学中,还要多观察和了解学生的心理状态,及时纠正学生的不良心理,改变学生学习英语的方式,培养学生合作学习的意识;注意运用适当的表扬和鼓励,一个亲切和信任的目光、一句热情而激动的话都能激发学生的上进心、自尊心和集体荣誉感。在上课过程中,教师应随时注意对学生所做出的任何反映进行评价,如“very good, Ok, wonderful. How clever you are! If you can speak a little louder, that’ll be better.”等。
反思整节课,我觉得在练习反馈环节中,用时间较多,这样虽然让不同的学生都有了表现自己的机会,但是对整个教学环节产生了冲突,特别是对后面知识的拓展,中考知识链接产生了一定的影响。在以后的教学中应该尽量避免。反思使人进步!!
