为什么要学习几何概型
问题:图中有两个转盘.甲乙两人玩转盘游戏,规定当指针指向B区域时,甲获胜,否则乙获胜.在两种情况下分别求甲获胜的概率是多少
事实上,甲获胜的概率与字母B所在扇形区域的圆弧的长度有关,而与字母B所在区域的位置无关.因为转转盘时,指针指向圆弧上哪一点都是等可能的.不管这些区域是相邻,还是不相邻,甲获胜的概率是不变的.
几何概型的定义
如果每个事件发生的概率只与构成该事件区域的长度(面积或体积)成比例,则称这样的概率模型为几何概率模型,简称为几何概型.
几何概型的特点:
(1)试验中所有可能出现的结果(基本事件)有无限多个.
(2)每个基本事件出现的可能性相等.
在几何概型中,事件A的概率的计算公式如下:
解:设A={等待的时间不多于10分钟}.我们所
关心的事件A恰好是打开收音机的时刻位于
[50,60]时间段内,因此由几何概型的求概率

即“等待的时间不超过10分钟”的概率为
例1 某人午觉醒来,发现表停了,他
打开收音机,想听电台报时,求他等待
的时间不多于10分钟的概率.

系,假设随机试验落在方形区域内任何一
点是等可能的,所以符合几何概型的条件.
根据题意,只要点落到阴影部
分,就表示父亲在离开家前能
得到报纸,即时间A发生,所以
“抛阶砖”是国外游乐场的典型游戏之一.参与者只须将手上的“金币”(设“金币”的半径为 r)抛向离身边若干距离的阶砖平面上,抛出的“金币”若恰好落在任何一个阶砖(边长为a的正方形)的范围内(不与阶砖相连的线重叠),便可获奖.
例1 抛阶砖游戏
玩抛阶砖游戏的人,一般需换购代用“金币”来参加游戏. 那么要问:参加者获奖的概率有多大?
显然,“金币”与阶砖的相对大小将决定成功抛中阶砖的概率.

基本事件
基本事件的特点:
任何两个基本事件是互斥的
任何事件都可以表示成基本事件的和。

解:所求的基本事件共有6个:

上述试验和例1的共同特点是:
(1) 试验总所有可能出现的基本事件只有有限个;
(2) 每个基本事件出现的可能性相等
我们将具有这两个特点的概率模型称为古典概率模型,简称古典概率。

解:这是一个古典概型,因为试验的可能结果只有4个:选择A、选择B、选择C、选择D,即基本事件只有4个,考生随机的选择一个答案是选择A、B、C、D的可能性是相等的,由古典概型的概率计算公式得:

在标准化的考试中既有单选题又有多选题,多选题从A、B、C、D四个选项中选出所有正确答案,同学们可能有一种感觉,如果不知道正确答案,多选题更难猜对,这是为什么?
我们探讨正确答案的所有结果:
如果只要一个正确答案是对的,则有4种;
如果有两个答案是正确的,则正确答案可以是(A、B)(A、C)(A、D)(B、C)(B、D) (C、D)6种
如果有三个答案是正确的,则正确答案可以是(A、B、C)(A、C、D)(A、B、D)(B、C、D)4种
所有四个都正确,则正确答案只有1种。
正确答案的所有可能结果有4+6+4+1=15种,从这15种答案中任选一种的可能性只有1/15,因此更难猜对。
例3 同时掷骰子,计算:

(2)其中向上的点数之和是5的结果有多少种?

(2)在上面的所有结果中,向上的点数之和为5的结果有

其中第一个数表示1号骰子的结果,第二个数表示2号骰子的结果。

3.1.1随机事件的概率
在第二次世界大战中,美国曾经宣布:一名优秀数学家的作用超过10个师的兵力.这句话有一个非同寻常的来历.
1943年以前,在大西洋上英美运输船队常常受到德国潜艇的袭击,当时英美两国限于实力,无力增派更多的护航舰,一时间,德军的“潜艇战”搞得盟军焦头烂额.
为此,有位美国海军将领专门去请教了几位数学家,数学家们运用概率论分析后分析,舰队与敌潜艇相遇是一个随机事件,从数学角度来看这一问题,它具有一定的规律性.一定数量的船(为100艘)编队规模越小,编次就越多(为每次20艘,就要有5个编次),编次越多,与敌人相遇的概率就越大.
美国海军接受了数学家的建议,命令舰队在指定海域集合,再集体通过危险海域,然后各自驶向预定港口.结果奇迹出现了:盟军舰队遭袭被击沉的概率由原来的25%降为1%,大大减少了损失,保证了物资的及时供应.
问题一:现在有10件相同的产品,其中8件是正品,2件是次品。我们要在其中任意抽出3件。那么,我们可能会抽到怎样的样本

1、频率本身是随机的,在试验前不能确定。做同样次数的重复试验得到事件的频率会不同。
2、概率是一个确定的数,与每次试验无关。是用来度量事件发生可能性大小的量。
3、频率是概率的近似值,随着试验次数的增加,频率会越来越接近概率。

例4、假设储蓄卡的密码由4个数字组成,每个数字可以是0,1,……,9十个数字中的任意一个。假设一个人完全忘记了自己的储蓄卡密码,问他在自动提款机上随机试一次密码就能取到钱的概率试多少?
解:这个人随机试一个密码,相当做1次随机试验,试验的基本事件(所有可能的结果)共有10 000种。由于是假设的随机的试密码,相当于试验的每一个结果试等可能的。所以

分为两种情况,1听不合格和2听都不合格。
1听不合格:合格产品从10听中选1听,不合格产品从2听中选1听,所以包含的基本事件数为10x2=20

在实际问题中,质检人员一般采用抽查方法而不采用逐个检查的方法的原因有两个:第一可以从抽查的样品中次品出现的情况把握总体中次品出现的情况;第二采用逐个抽查一般是不可能的,也是不现实的。

3.2.2 (整数值)随机数的产生
1、选定A1格,键入“=RANDBETWEEN(0,1)”,按Enter键,则在此格中的数是随机产生的0或1。
2、选定A1格,按Ctrl+C快捷键,然后选定要随机产生0、1的格,比如A2至A100,按Ctrl+V快捷键,则在A2至A100的数均为随机产生的0或1,这样我们很快就得到了100个随机产生的0,1,相当于做了100次随机试验。

解:我们通过设计模拟试验的方法来解决问题,利用计算器或计算机可以产生0到9之间去整数值的随机数,我们用1,2,3,4表示下雨,用5,6,7,8,9,0表示不下雨,这样可以体现下雨的概率是40%。因为是3天,所以每三天随机数作为一组。例如,产生20组随机数

从维也纳大学回到布鲁恩不久,孟德尔就开始了长达8年的豌豆实验。孟德尔首先从许多种子商那里,弄来了34个品种的豌豆,从中挑选出22个品种用于实验。它们都具有某种可以相互区分的稳定性状,例如高茎或矮茎、圆料或皱科、灰色种皮或白色种皮等。
豌豆杂交试验
