Step I. Warming up
Greeting.
Let’s sing the song “Apple tree” with the video together.
T: There are so many apples, do you like apples
I like apples,too! I like fruit.
Look and say these words as quickly as you can.
Step II. Lead in
T: Do you like fruit Do you like pears
Ss: Yes , I do.
T: Today we’ll learn Unit 5 Do you like pears
Step III. Presentation
1.Create the situation.
a. Show the teacher’s own fruit shop and divide the class into four
groups.
T: Today I have a fruit shop. If you are good you can get a fruit.
Are your ready
Ss: Yes, ready!
T: Look at my fruit shop:What can you see
b. Show the fruit cards and practice -- Do you like ...
-- Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
2.Listen and learn the text.
a. Show the picture of Sarah and her mother, Listen and answer the question: Where are they
T: Look,I’m in my fruit shop.Look at the picture, Do you know Where
are Sarah and her mother
b. Listen again, answer the questions:
What fruit does Sarah like
Can you remember
c. Listen and repeat, then fill in the blanks.
3.Game time: Fruit down.
Step IV.Practice
1.Situational performance.
T: Boys and girls, Let’s do a scene show. There are four situations for you: At home, At the supermarket, At the hospital, At the park. You can make up a dialogue with our sentences for your situation.
Make up dialogue in your group.
Show time.
2.Fruit party.
a. Create the situation and buy fruit each group.
b. Make fruit salad.
c. Share and have fun.
