Steps Activities Purpose
Lead in T：Welcome to my class. You know, I’m a teacher. Teaching is an usual or ordinary job. It means the job is common in our daily life. Do you know other usual jobs For example, policeman、nurse、artist、waiter、farmer and so on. When we are young, we often talk about what to be in the future, will you do the job you plan to do 激活思维，引入话题。
Step 1 Look at the title, what does “unusual” mean From the dictionary, we know “unusual “means it’s different from what is usual. According to the title, what do you think the passage will be about So before reading, read the title first and predict the content of the passage. Q：What are unusual jobs in the passage （Tip 2: Read the passage with questions, choose the ways according to different questions. ） Read Passage 1 and choose the correct answers. 通过话题“不寻常”，引起下面Reading A段的阅读。
Step 2 Discussion: What’s your dream job What will you do to make it come true T: After graduation, some students may travel somewhere. If you have a chance to go abroad, England may be a good choice. Let’s read something about Britain. What is the best title for the passage To get the main idea, we can read the title as well as the beginning and ending of the passage. We can get the answer from Paragraph 3.
