教学重点： 1. To learn how to introduce a cartoon hero.
2. To master some reading skills.
教学难点： 1. To understand the passage by using reading skills. 2. To express opinions towards cartoon heroes.
教学过程
Step 1 Leading in 1. Free talk Show some pictures of cartoon heroes and ask “What do you know about them ” 2. Introduce my favourite cartoon hero: Tintin. (Purpose: Tintin may be hard for students to understand, so I explain it at first and also show them how to understand a cartoon hero.) Step 2 Fast reading 1. Let students find what cartoon heroes are mentioned 2. Ask about the creator of Journey to the West (Purpose: Let student know the meaning of creator and use a simple question to arouse students’ awareness.) Step 3 Careful reading 1.
