记叙文 好心人的帮助 ★★★
  On a hot summer day, a friend and I decided to go to the forest for a walk. We walked around for a while. Then we realized that we should probably pay attention to where we were going, so we wouldn't get lost. We noticed a marked path and remembered that the path started where we parked our car. We started following it. After two hours, we realized we were just looping around. The part of the path that was supposed to take us back to the car seemed nowhere to be found! So we were off the marked path, in hopes of finding our way back. We found a cycling path and followed it to a parking place. Sadly it wasn't our parking place! A map at that parking place showed us where all the other parking places were and we noticed we were a long way from all of them! Except that, we couldn't know which one was “our” parking place. So we decided to walk up to a house nearby.
A lady was unloading (卸载) her food from her car, and we asked if she had any clues (线索) where we had parked our car. We described to her where we had come from and what the roads looked like. She immediately knew the place we described and said that we were a long way off. And then, to my surprise, she said: “Why don't you jump into the car I'll take you there.” We told her we had walked around for hours and she laughed and said “I figured!” She drove us right back to our car, and we were so thankful to her.
11.Why did the author and his friend walk along the marked path

I remember the first time I met Roy. He was telling a joke. When he reached the final line, everyone burst out laughing. “A popular boy,” I thought to myself. My name is Daniel. I was the new boy in the class. There were 33 students in my new class, and most people weren't very interested in a shy new boy. Roy was kind to me. He often invited me to join his particular group, and we became good friends. We trusted each other and we could talk about personal matters.
Five years later, Roy and I were still in the same class. But just under a year ago, Roy's father was knocked over by a car. He died a few days later. The family had difficulty with finance. Roy changed completely. He started losing friends, including me.
About three months ago, a group of us were playing football together after school. Having left something in the classroom, I went inside to get it, and found Roy going through the pockets of people's coats. In his hand he had a wallet—and I knew it wasn't his! Roy went bright red. “I'll put it back right now,” he said, and he did so. I turned round and walked out without saying a word. I really hoped that Roy would explain why he had been stealing, but instead he started avoiding me.
Last week our school had a big fair in order to raise money for a charity and we made about £500. But to our surprise, the next morning, we were told that the money had been stolen. This morning I decided to ask Roy about the theft (偷窃) so I went to see him. Roy was out. I put his jacket on and put my hands in the pockets. I could feel a lot of paper notes and I pulled them out. It looked as if there was about £500 there. I was so surprised that I just stood there, holding the notes in my hand. At that moment, Roy walked in.
注意:
1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式在相应位置作答。
Seeing me stand there with the money in my hand, Roy felt frightened.

Seeing me stand there with the money in my hand, Roy felt frightened. I became very angry, asking him if it was the money that we raised last week. He went bright red, admitting that he had stolen it in a low voice. I slowly calmed down and hugged him, telling him that I would be willing to help him overcome his difficulty. He wept and then we had a sincere talk face to face. At last we agreed to return the money.
We went to the head teacher, Mrs Smith, together. In the teacher's office, Roy returned the money to Mrs Smith, and guaranteed not to do such things again. Though Mrs Smith was so surprised that she couldn't believe her eyes, she praised him for his courage and correction and told him if he had difficulty with finance she would be ready to help him. Roy was moved to tears. After that, we became good friends again. We trusted each other and shared sorrow and happiness together.

记叙文 一个难忘的圣诞节 ★★★
  Following Christmas dinner,my family was relaxing around the kitchen table.The smells of cooking still remained.My sister was receiving the praise—“Delicious meal!Everything is wonderful.”Dad had risen from his chair and was gladly standing nearby.My nephew,one never to sit still for too long,began playing his new basketball around the table and throughout the kitchen.Upon nearing Dad,he stopped—almost uncertainly.With shaking,wrinkled hands,Dad had reached out for the ball.
I watched my father closely to see what he would do.A playful smile appeared on his face.Holding the ball and reaching forward,Dad bounced it on the floor then caught it.This action was repeated.Nodding approvingly, he then turned towards our assembled group.Gently throwing the ball away,Dad began a game of catch.

I'm not sure how long we played catch.What I do know is that our game ended all too soon, and it was time to face the reality of dirty dishes piled high table.The moment,though,will certainly last forever.On this Christmas,Dad gave me a special memory—one that I will always treasure.
