该单元语篇内容主要围绕询问、描述人的外貌长相展开对话。
掌握并运用人的外貌长相词汇及句型描述人的外貌特征可用于解决依稀而生活实际问题,如寻找失踪人物或者罪犯。
引导学生正确看待人的外貌长相,不以貌取人,也不自我菲薄。
该单元语篇分为五个部分,即第一课时的听说对话文本;第二课时的语法对话文本;第三课时的听力对话文本;第四课时的阅读文本和第五课时的写作文本。
各个文本内容和难度上循序渐进,后一文本在前一文本的基础上进行语言点和句型结构的重复和延伸拓展。此外,大部分文本都匹配有插图、音频、视频辅助学生学习。

6. Is he short or tall 他矮还是高?
回答:He is short. 或 He is tall.
解析:
问句是一个选择疑问句。
在问句中提供两个或两个以上可选答案的问句叫做选择疑问句。
选择疑问句的两种或两种以上的情况用or连接,回答时不能用yes或no,而是根据实际情况选择符合事实的陈述句。
在口语表达时,选择疑问句的语调应是第一个选择项读升调,最后一个选择项读降调。
选择疑问句可以分为一般选择疑问句和特殊选择疑问句两种。
7. 一般选择疑问句
句型结构:
1. 选择疑问句中or所连接的内容一定是并列的,如果or的前面是名词,其后也应该是名词,如果是动词,其后也必须是动词。
2. or 之后如果是单数可数名词,必须要加上冠词。
