To help Ss recall their unforgettable memories and know more about how to have meaningful weekends.

Step 1 Warm up and lead in Greeting Show a song called What did you do (Justification:To lead in the topic of the class and arouse Ss’ interest ) Step 2 Pre-listening ▲Present some pictures about Lucy. Observe the pictures and help Ss tell what Lucy did last weekend: went to the beach; did her homework; played badminton;went to the cinema; went camping by the lake.(Justification:Ss are guided to be aware of the usage of the past tense) ▲Match the pictures with the activities (1a) did my homework; went to the beach; played badminton; went to the cinema; went boating; went camping by the lake.(Justification: Through the activity above, students can understand the material better as well as get prepared for listening) Step 3 While-listening ▲Listen and write the day, morning, afternoon or night below each picture.(1b) Lucy did her homework on Sunday morning. She went to the beach on Saturday afternoon.She played badminton on Saturday morning. She went to the cinema on Saturday night. She went boating with her classmates on Sunday afternoon.
