学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级下册第四单元,本单元主题是“At the farm” ,主要通过展示学生参观农场的情景,学习部分蔬菜和动物的单词,学习如何询问这些动、植物的名称和数量。能够运用What are these They are ... They are so ...和句型Are these ...Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.来询问和描述事物的特点。四年级的学生,学生已有的相关背景知识有颜色单词、体形外貌形容词、数词等,这些背景知识结合本单元的蔬菜和动物整合运用,通过知识的不断滚动形成知识链。教师在教学过程中可以借助课件、网络资源、图片、实物、教材等多种方式呈现,采用游戏、儿歌、表演等多种教学方法操练,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生灵活运用语言的能力。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇:tomato-tomatoes, potato-potatoes, carrot-carrots, green bean-green beans,horse-horses, cow-cows, hen-hens, sheep-sheep等 。在单元主题意义的引领下,以“At the farm” 为主题,教师创设贴近学生学习生活的真实情境,设计层层深入的教学活动,带领学生通过观察、探究、体验等方式学习有关“如何询问这些动、植物的名称和数量”等的交际用语。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A learntomato-tomatoes, potato-potatoes, carrot-carrots, green bean-green beans,Look at the___ .They're _____.学习简单描述蔬菜的外形1课时学习核心词汇的音形义, 会用所学词汇和句型简单描述蔬菜的外形A talkthese, yum1.What are these 2. 语篇研读(附图)
本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是语篇通过Mike和Sarah继续跟着Old MacDonald在农场上认识动物学习本课时核心词汇和句型,学会描述动物特征和数量。要求学生在语境中能大方的用What are these Are they________ Yes, they are.No, they aren't询问确认某个复数物体, 并用How many 句型问答动物的数量, 并能根据声音猜出动物, 熟悉动物相应的叫声等。通过本课时的学习,学生进一 步了解农场的动物,学会爱护农场动物, 热爱生活,为实施助农计划,宣传农场产品和生活做努力。
教学过程
