教材分析
本课是Module8知识上的衔接与递进。通过对话课教学,学生学习警察叔叔为Sam指路这个文本,能运用核心语言和核心词汇相互交流来传递信息,从而学会在现实生活中问路及辨别方向,为第二单元的路线描述作铺垫,实现学会问路指路这一语用功能。

2.能理解和运用Turn left! Turn right!Go straight on!

Step1.Warm up and lead in(7’)
Greetings
Listen and dance.
T:Are you happy I think sports make us happy.Look,the bears are having a PE class.Let’s see what the teacher bear says.
Watch and answer.
left------turn left(手势,动作)
right-----turn right(手势,动作)
(设计意图:通过跟跳兔子舞,向学生渗透left,right等词的意思,同时调动学生的学习积极性,过渡到活动一的学习,教授turn left,turn right的发音及意义)
Step2.Task presentation(1’)
T:这两句话不光可以用在体育课中,还可以用来指路。So today’task is learning to use “Excuse me,Where is\are… Turn left!Turn right!Go straight on!”to ask the way and tell the way.
(设计意图:明确本课学习任务,也了解本课的语言功能)
Step3.Text learning(10’)
T:Sam will go out.Let’s watch and find.Where is Sam going
Which road is Sam going
Ss:He’s going to Daming’s home.
He’s going to Xihu Road.(teach road)
T:But Sam doesn’t know the way.So,he will ask a policeman.What does Sam say Listen and teach excuse me,介绍它的用法。
3.How does the policeman tell the way Let’s listen.(板书,贴箭头和单词)
Show the sentences and teach go straight on.
4.Last,what does Sam say to the policeman (Thank you. You’re welcome.)
5.Does Sam arrive at Daming’s home Why Listen and answer.
a.Sam is lost.(teach lost)
b.Daming lives in Huxi Road.Not Xihu Road.(板书Huxi Road)
6.Listen and imitate .

(设计意图:通过听画,描述去Daming家的正确路线,以及问答练习操练本课的重点语句)
Step5.Task completion(5’)
Let’s see who can be the policeman.(获胜的队选出一个代表作警察,其他同学作为求助者,进行对话操练。在教室里进行实地练习,巩固本课所学问路和指路的基本语句)
