教材分析 Section A前面四张图片呈现了中国民间神话,包含后羿射日,大闹天宫,女娲补天,愚公移山等。听力语篇为两人对话,王明在向安娜讲述中国著名的故事《愚公移山》的开头和大概情节,完成简单的语言输出。1a要求学生熟悉四个神话故事的 英文名称 1b让学生通过听了解《愚公移山》这一传说故事的英文表述。1c 则要求学生学会一系列特殊疑问句进行问答,完成简单的语言输出。活动2a引导 学生依据四幅图片了解愚公移山的故事发展。2b部分引导学生关注故事细节的表述。2c 部分要求学生基于听力输入,尝试用自己的语言讲述故事,进一步巩固讲述故事的核心词 汇和句型。2d的对话呈现了学生就神话故事《愚公移山》展开的讨论,提供真实的对话范例,渗透了批判性思维的培养。
学情分析 八年级的学生已经掌握了一定的语音、词汇、句型、语法等语言基础知识,本课的很多基础词汇和句型,学生在之前的学习中也多有接触过,因此能够较好地理解单元教材内容并完成相应的学习任务,也能更好地以旧带新,创建新知与旧知的关联。本课时涉及的中国古代传说故事是学生比较熟悉和感兴趣的,这将有助于他们理解单元主题,参与讨论、复述、表演等课堂活动,也更容易激发他们的背景知识和生活常识。
学习目标 1.学会中国传统故事的相关表达方式。 2.能够使用母语影响和总结策略,提升听力理解和讲故事的能力。 3.能够多角度看待问题。

一、导入新课 1. Greetings. 2. Show the video of Yu Gong moves a mountain. And then ask the students some questions like this. T: What’s the name of the story S1:It’s Yu Gong moves a mountain. S2: It’s a traditional Chinese story. T: Do you know other traditional Chinese stories S1: Ne Zha Conquers the Dragon King S2: Magic Brush Ma Liang S3: Chang’e Flies to the Moon. 二、探究新知 学习活动一 你会用英语讲述传统中国故事吗? 【问题导学】 主问题:Listen to the TV report and circle the correct responses. 【学生自学】 1. Look at the pictures in 1a, then read the names of the story in the box. 2. Play the recording in 1b for the Ss to listen and see who know the name of the story. 【组内互学】 Ss discuss with their partners and match the names of the stories with the pictures. ________Journey to the West b ________Yu Gong Moves a Mountain d ________Hou Yi Shoots the Suns a ________Nu Wa Repairs the Sky c 【班内展学】 1. Read the questions in the box in 1c. 2. Ss discuss the questions with their partners. 3.
