一、现在进行时
1. 现在进行时简介
（1）现在进行时表示正在进行的动作或正在发生的事，也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。提示词有look, listen, now 及特定的时间状语 at 8 o'clock, at the moment等.基本结构为 “be 动词+现在分词”，be 动词的形式要根据主语来确定。
（2）be 在此处是助动词，本身无词义，只起辅助作用，但它有人称和数的变化，根据主语
人称和数的不同，用不同的形式（am, is, are）.be 和后面的动词 ing 形式一起构成谓语。
2.现在进行时的基本句型结构：
（1）肯定句：主语+be（am/is/are）+动词-ing形式+其他。be 动词必须与主语的人称和单复数形式一致。
例如：My mother is playing the piano.我的妈妈正在弹钢琴.
They are watching a film now.他们正在看电影.
I am sweeping the floor.我正在扫地。
（2）否定句：主语+be + not + 动词-ing 形式+其他
例如：He is not flying a kite.他没在放风筝。
They aren't watching a film now.他们现在没在看电影。
（3）一般疑问句：Be+主语+动词-ing 形式+其他？
例如：Are you writing a letter？你正在写信吗？
（4）特殊疑问句：特妹疑问词+be+主语+动词-ing 形式+其他？
例如：What are you doing now？你现在正在做什么？
What is Lisa doing Lisa 正在做什么？
Who is dancing in the room？谁在房间里跳舞？
Where is he seeing a film？他在哪里看电影？
注意：现在分词即动词 ing 不受疑问句及否定句形式的影响。
3. 询问他人（单数）正在做什么的句型结构：
问句：What is+主语（第三人称单数）+doing？
答语：She/He is+动词-ing 形式（cooking, making, swimming..）+其他。
例：-What is he doing now？他现在正在做什么？
-He is sleeping. 他正在睡觉。
例：-What is Tom doing？汤姆正在做什么？
-He is doing his homework in the study.他正在书房里做作业。
4.询问他人（复数）正在做什么的句型结构：
问句: What are+ 主语（第三人称复数）+ doing
答语：They are+动词-ing 形式+其他
例如：What are they doing？他们正在做什么？
They are flying kites. 他们正在放风等.
二、like doing sth 和 like to do sth：
like doing sth：表示某人的稳定爱好或经常性的动作，侧重已经存在或存在过的情况。
like to do sth： 表示某一次的行为，临时性的动作，侧重将来的趋势。
例：Lisa likes playing volleyball. Lisa 喜欢打排球。
Lisa likes to skate these days. Lisa 这些天喜欢去溜冰。
三、be busy:
意思“忙的”。可以接“with +名词”，也可以直接接动名词，表示“忙于 ”
例：I'm busy with my work.我忙于工作.
I'm busy doing my work.我正在忙于做工作。
四、grow 的用法：
（1）grow 作为及物动词，是“种植”的意思。
如：Lisa grows apples in his garden.丽萨在她的花园里种苹果。
They grow rice on the farm.他们在农场上种水稻。
（2）grow 也可以用作不及物动词，表示“生长”“成长”“变成”等意思。
如：The apples are growing well.苹果长得很好。
五、go away 的用法：
go away 的意思是“走开”“离开”。
如：Wait here. Don't go away.等在这里，别走开。
Rain, rain, go away, little Johnny wants to play.雨呀，雨呀，快走开，小乔尼呀，想要玩儿。
六、省略句：
The pests go away, but the ladybirds do not. 害虫走了，但瓢虫没有走。
这个句子的后半句是一个省略句，在do not 后省略了 go away，目的是避免重复。
如：Lisa is happy, but Bobby is not. 萨姆是开心的，但鲍勃不开心。（省略了happy）
I would like to come, but I can't. 我想来，但不能来。（省略了 come）
注意：我们在考试中经常会遇到and 连接前后两个句子，省略了主语；注意后面句子的动词随前面主语进行变化，即前后动词保持相同形式。
