学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)五年级下册第四单元,本单元学习的主题是“When is the art show”。本单元重点学习有关节日和生日的话题, 并将话题延伸到谈论节日和生日所在的日期。上个单元, 学生已经学习了12个月份的单词以及一些节日及节日所在的月份。本单元继续学习有关节日所在的具体日期和学习1~31的序数词和日期表达法。本单元是在复习以前学过的一些月份和部分序数词的基础上,注重学习具体日期的英语表达方式,学习序数词与基数词的转换规律。五年级学生已积累了一定的英语学习经验和语言知识储备,初步具备了运用所学语言知识进行简单交流的能力,能够根据学习进展对学习计划和策略进行调整,尝试找到适合自己的英语学习方法。此外,关于节日、生日、活动的话题也较贴近学生的生活实际,是学生乐于参与学习、讨论的话题。五年级的学生活泼好动、对新话题充满兴趣,喜欢表现自我,勇于挑战,他们对本单元的话题并不陌生,这些节日和活动在校园生活中和家庭生活中时常发生。在进行本单元的教学过程中,应该有意识地帮助学生体会并表达自己喜欢的节日和活动,培养学生热爱集体、孝敬长辈、关心家人、热情好客等行为品质,提高学生的跨文化交际能力和综合语用能力。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th),twelfth(12th), twentieth(20th), twenty-first(21st), twenty- third(23rd), thirtieth(30th)等 。在单元主题意义的引领下,以“节日和生日” 为主题,教师创设贴近学生学习生活的真实情境,设计层层深入的教学活动,谈论节日和生日所在的日期。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A learnfirst(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)When is the.. . 语篇研读(附图)
本节课是阅读篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过以Sarah日记的形式,主要记录小猫的成长过程。本课分为读、写两个部分。第一部分要求学生阅读四篇日记。第二部分为朗读连线及有意义的抄写语句。本节课的教学重点在于复习巩固月份及.日期的表达方法;阅读方法的指导、如何从文中获取有效的信息并正确的表达;并通过学习,了解日记的格式,并模仿着写自己的英文日记。从而激发学生在真实的语言情境中来运用所学词汇和句型等。让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。能根据课文进行连线, 模仿写出句子,完成听力任务等等。
教学过程
核心素养教学目标 学习能力目标: 学习kitten, diary, still, noise, fur, open, walk,等词汇,能够读懂课文的内容并能根据日记内容完成课堂练习等 能在音频和图片语境的帮助下, 学习听力题型和听力技巧。 有意识地运用所学字、词、句,培养“能听会说英语”的能力语言知识目标:能在图片和文本语境的帮助下,熟练运用本单元的核心单词和句型, 通过阅读课文,能根据日记内容完成课堂练习等。思维能力目标: 能在教师引导下,能够读懂课文的内容,能根据日记内容完成课堂练习等能听音抓住重点信息给图片标序并回答相应问题文化品格目标:了解英语的语言表达,体会不同的语言魅力,促进心智发展。2.激发学生对语音、拼写的兴趣,从而喜欢学英语。
重点 能够听懂和运用本单元的核心单词和句型并完成对应的练习。
难点 能能够读懂课文的内容并能根据日记内容完成课堂练习; 能完成check部分听力任务, 学习了解英语的听力题型和技巧。
