一、教学目标
1. 听、说、读、写单词live； as, born, spell, letter, became, herself, all over, role model。
2. 听、说、读、写句子“She couldn’t see or hear. Helen Keller was born in the US in 1880. Later Helen learnt to read, write and speak.”。
3. 了解如何运用一般过去时态介绍某人的生平事迹
二、教学重难点
能够运用含有动词过去式的句子谈论并讲述名人一生的经历。
三、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
1. 师生相互问候。
2.复习动词的过去时.让学生对以往知识加以复习巩固。
Step 2：Presentation
1. 活动1：Listen and chant.
(1) 教师简单介绍一下海伦，让学生对今天的学习有个初步的了解。
(2) 教师播放活动1录像，学生观看1遍，然后跟唱。
2. 活动2：Listen and read.
(1) 教师播放活动2录像，学生看完后思考并小组讨论，然后分组回答问题。目的是让学生养成善于思考和合作探究的习惯。
