（1）perform 意为“演出；表演”，常见的短语有：
perform ballet 表演芭蕾；perform magic tricks 表演魔术。
【拓展】perform 还有“工作，运转”的意思。

（2）magic 意为“有魔力的；有神奇力量的”。常见的短语有：
a magic spell 魔咒；a magic trick 魔术
【拓展】① magic在口语中还有“好极了；棒极了”的意思。

② magic n.意为“魔法；巫术”。eg. Do you believe in magic 你相信魔法吗？
（3）trick n.意为“诡计；花招；戏法”。
eg. The kids like playing tricks on their teacher. 孩子们喜欢耍些花招戏弄老师。

Key points
（1）enjoy v.意为“喜欢，欣赏，享受……的乐趣”，后接名词、代词、动名词。
eg. Thanks for the great evening. I really enjoyed it.

（2）enjoy oneself = have a good/great/nice/wonderful time = have fun
意为“过得快活，玩得痛快”。 oneself 必须与主语相对应。
eg. They all enjoyed themselves at the party. 他们在聚会上都玩得非常高兴。

（1）一般过去时的含义
一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，常和表示过去的时间状语连用。如：yesterday, last year, in 2000, three days ago, the day before yesterday等。
①表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态。
eg. Steve had a birthday party last Friday. 上星期史蒂夫举办了个生日聚会。
②表示过去某一段时间内经常、反复发生的动作。
eg. When Tom was young, he always asked many strange questions.
当汤姆小的时候，他总是问许多奇怪的问题。
③实义动词的一般过去时也可以与today, this week, this morning等时间状语连用，
但动作必须是到说话时已经结束。
eg. I went to the bookstore this morning. 今天早晨我去书店了。

①肯定句“主语+动词的过去式+其他”。
eg. I saw a film last week. 上周我看了一部电影。
②否定句“主语+didn't+动词原形+其他”。

③一般疑问句“Did+主语+动词原形+其他”。
eg. Did your mother go shopping yesterday 昨天你妈妈去买东西了吗？
④特殊疑问句
A.“疑问词+did+主语+动词原形+其他”。
eg. Why did you come here just now 刚才你为什么到这儿来了？
B.“疑问词（作主语）+实义动词过去式+其他”。

①规则变化

C.以“辅音字母+y”结尾的动词，把y改成i,加-ed, 如：study—studies try—tried
D.重读闭音节动词，双写词尾辅音字母，再加-ed, 如：stop—stopped
