(1)buy 动词,意为“买",过去式为 bought。易混淆词:bring“带来”,过去式brought.
常用结构为: buy sb. sth.= buy sth. for sb. 为某人买某物。
当sth.为人称代词的宾格形式(it/them)时,只能用buy it/them for sb.结构。
eg. My mother bought it for me.( ) My mother bought me it. ( )
He buys some flowers for her. = He buys her some flowers. 他给她买一些鲜花。
(2)lots of意为“许多”,相当于 a lot of,可修饰可数名词和不可数名词。
注:many只能修饰可数名词,而much修饰不可数名词。
(3)food and drinks意为"食物和饮料", food在此用作不可数名词,表示食物的总称
drink表示“饮料”时,一般用作不可数名词;
但是,当drink表示不同种类的饮料时常用复数,可以加s。

(2)each 和 every都可以指"每一个"。each表示一定数目中的每一个,强调个人或个别
,指两者或两者以上中的每一个。every表示数目不确定的许多人或物中的每一个
,强调整体。指三者或以上中的每一个。 every不单独与of 连用。

by hand 意为"用手工"。介词by表方式,意思是“用”,后面常跟抽象名词成动名词,构成的短语表示完成某活动的方式、途径、手段等。

比较:in 和 with
(1)in 表手段,意思是“用”,后面常跟有关语言和材料的词语。

(2)with 表工具,意思是“用”,后接表示有关工具的词语。

另外,by+交通工具,表示乘坐某种交通工具。eg. I often go to school by bus.
