考点一 thank的用法

thank意为“感谢”,常构成thank sb. for (doing) sth.“因(做)某事而感谢某人”,相当于“thanks for (doing) sth.”。

(1)how many意为“多少”,后跟可数名词复数。

①用来询问事物的数量,后接不可数名词。

②用来询问事物的重量。

考点三 询问天气的句型
【课文原句】 What's the weather like in spring?
春天天气如何?(七上PS22)
询问天气的常用句型有“How's the weather...?”或“What's the weather like...?”。What's the weather like here in summer?=How is the weather here in summer?这里夏天的天气如何?
(2)表示天气的形容词一般在其相应的名词词尾加 y构成:

考点四 let开头的祈使句和play的用法
【课文原句】 Let's play football after school.放学后我们一起踢足球吧。(七上PS24)
(1)“let sb. do sth.”意为“让某人做某事”,这是一个以动词let开头的祈使句,用来提出建议或征求别人的意见,其肯定答语常用“OK./All right./Yes, let's...”等;否定答语一般用“Sorry, I...”。
(2)【辨析】 let's do sth.与let us do sth.

考点五 there be句型
【课文原句】 There are thirty students in my class.我班里有30名学生。(七上P14)
(1)该句为there be句型,结构为“there be+某人/某物+某地/某时”,
意为“某地或某时有某人或某物”。
There is a clothes store near the library.在图书馆附近有一家服装店。
【辨析】 there be和have有“同”有“异”
(2)在there be句型(there be+名词+介词短语)中,be动词要和后面所跟的名词在数上保持一致;在有并列主语的情况下,要根据第一个主语的单复数来确定be动词的形式,即遵循“就近原则”。
There is a pen and two books on the desk.=There are two books and a pen on the desk.桌子上有一支笔和两本书。
(3)there be句型的一般将来时

考点六 “How/What about...?”句型

“How/What about...?”意为“……怎么样?;……好不好?”,是固定句型,用来表示询问信息、征求对方的意见或向对方提出建议。常用的肯定答语有OK!/All right./Sounds good./Great./Good idea.等;否定答语有Sorry, I’m afraid not.等。

Two years ago I was very lonely and didn't talk with anyone about my feelings. At that time I didn't have many friends. I wanted someone to share my experiences and secrets with. I wanted someone to understand me. I started to imagine this friend. Often I imagined our conversations and what we would do, but I didn't give my imagination a face.
Some weeks later we started a new project in school and I was working with one of my schoolmates. We had never worked together before but we got along well. After the project, we started to spend some time together in school. One day we made a decision to take a walk. Ever since that walk, we've been best friends. I had wished for a best friend, but the universe gave me so much more. I have met one of my soul mates. We can sense each other, and it just takes one look and we know what the other is thinking. I didn't think our friendship could grow much stronger. But now we have known for two years and our friendship is growing all the time.
It hasn't only been easy. We have gone through both easy and hard times. But I'm grateful for the hard times, because they have forced me to grow and taught me a lot. My best friend has changed me. She has made me believe in myself. And I am now focusing on achieving one of my biggest dreams. Without her I wouldn't even have realized what my biggest dream is. I know there are soul mates in the world for you. I am so grateful to have met one of mine. Believe in them, and your paths will cross!
