How do you like the art class?Studies show that studying art is important. It does more than help students draw, paint and sing. Students who study art are better at working with people and understanding their feelings.
Besides, art makes learning more fun. It makes students want to learn, because it helps students keep thinking about one thing more easily.
Offering more and better art classes is the best way to make students better at math and reading.

例题精讲
语篇解读 本文主要从餐馆和消费者两个角度介绍了可以做什么来解决一次性塑料垃圾问题,旨在引导学生了解一次性塑料垃圾的危害,从自身做起,保护环境。
Plastic Waste Makers Index

However, there are simple things restaurants and customers can do to be part of the solution.

危害
To show the harm of
single use plastics.
Single use plastics include items like forks and knives. Consumers use these objects with a meal and then throw them away. However, the rubbish does not always enter a landfill(废弃物填埋场). Some single use plastics get into rivers or oceans.
Other plastics are taken to land or wildlife areas. Birds and animals will eat the plastics and get sick. Plastics also take a long time to break down.

One solution is to use reusable items. For example, restaurants can provide wooden spoons. Customers can be part of the solution, too. We can decide to reduce our use of single use plastics. For example, we can bring reusable cups and bags from home. We can also cook more meals at home or eat only at restaurants that are doing their part to reduce plastic waste.
3. How does the writer show his opinion in the third paragraph

Today, you can get information quickly. But there is a worry about children developing an enjoyment for reading printed books. 1题To attract more young people to read printed books, some communities in Australia have come up with a way to share a love of books.
Communities have dealt with the problem by bringing libraries to where the kids are. The little libraries are made of weatherproof(防风雨的) boxes and are filled with books. 2题They are set up outside of houses or in public spaces on streets. People can take books that they haven't read and donate(捐赠) the ones they have read to the libraries.
Street Library Australia is one of them. This nonprofit(非营利组织) was started by Nick Lowe after he saw a Little Free Library on a trip to the US. These libraries are completely voluntary and anyone can start one.
3题Pamela Zielke who runs a library called Pam's Pantry gives out toys along with books and craft supplies(工艺品) to people. An early childhood educator started her library with the goal of recycling books from the trash bins. The libraries are doing much more than just providing books and other donated objects for people.
4题The street libraries also provide a valuable service for the communities. In libraries, people find books about specific hobbies like cooking. Children are developing a love of reading books. And it is more convenient than going to a bookstore. But importantly, with a shared interest, the libraries are bringing communities closer together.
