Did Helen help Sahra to learn English
◆特殊疑问句(what, how, when, where, why提问)
Where was the missing college student found
Why do some experts worry most about young people
How can Internet addicts solve their problem
What might be the title of this passage (In no more than TEN words)
Does Mary read space news or business news
1.读懂问题--通读全文--信息定位--准确表达--避免答非所问;
2. 注意以材料为本。无论是单词、词组、句子,还是人、物、时间、地点、原因等,都要根据文章类型准确填写;
3. 注意文章中的人称和时态,做到问答一致。考试时最常见的错误就是时态语态用错;
4. 灵活运用同义词语的替换和各种句型的不同表达;
5. 对于开放性问题的回答,应根据文章提供的素材,根据全文大意、中心思想和作者的情感、立场展开合理的想象;
6. 在对待生词的处理上,要一分为二地看待。有些不影响理解的生词(如地名,人名)可直接忽视掉。有些生词前后会出现破折号、冒号或者出现that is to say 或者that means等词时,其实就是解释说明的作用。可以注意推测出词意;
what提问 使用名词、to do、doing、句子等回答
Because, for, since, as, in order to等形式回答
In 1948./On September 19, 2004
In the park
how提问 使用形容词、副词、by doing、with……
How long提问 使用For+时间段, since+时间点或者句子,如:For two years 注:如果动词是take、spend时,时间段是动词的宾语,这时不需要介词。
Five minutes’ walk;It’s about 20 kilometers等等
I think he/she …/We need to be …/I can learn … from him/her

Do both Eppei Lederer and Pauline Phillip love their jobs
Example 2 The student wasn’t happy living in the small room, was he

The student was happy living in the small room.
Was the student happy living in the small room

Based on her speaking, how do we stay young, to laugh or to cry
We stay young to laugh.
As a teenager, will you run away from home Why
B Because this was just the kind of forest he always dreamed about

The young man then told him the following story:
When I was a little boy, I used to be very quiet. At that time my parents were busy with their work. I had to live with my grandparents. It seemed that nobody cared much about me.
One day, a friend of mine, Martin, came in with a nice new watch. It was shiny brightly in the Sun and I knew I wanted it. I took it out of Martin’s pocket.
Shortly later, Martin noticed that his watch was missing and immediately told you about it. You told the class that whoever took it, he should return it. I didn’t give it back. You closed the door and told us all to stand up and form a circle. You were going to search our pockets. However, you asked us to close our eyes because you would only look for his watch if we all had our eyes closed.
You searched my pocket and found the watch there. You kept searching everyone’s pockets and when you were done, you said, “We have the watch.” You never said who took the watch to save my dignity (尊严) forever. But it was the greatest shame of my life. You never said anything. You never shouted at me or took me aside to give me a lesson. I received your message clearly.

Over the past six years, Wang, along with other players at the Yunnan Wild Elephants Tennis Club, has trained hard to improve his skills and physical strength. Every day, they must swing a racket more than 7,000 times and run 9 kilometers.

As a kid, Laurie Lower loved to read. She still does. Sometimes, she thinks about what it would be like to want to read a book but not be able to. “I would be heartbroken,” she says. Laurie is a braille transcriber She makes books that can be read by blind people.
Most kids can walk into a library or bookstore and find hundreds of books they’re able to read. But it’s not that simple for kids who are blind. They read in a different way. Laurie and other braille transcribers take the printed words of a story or textbook and change them into a code (代码) of raised dots (凸点). People who are unable to see can read these dots with their fingers.
The Braille Alphabet
When Laurie first saw the dots of the braille alphabet, she wondered if she’d ever be able to read and write them easily. She took a class for about six months. First, she learned to form letters in braille. Then she began forming words. “Practice, practice, and more practice were the keys to learning,” Laurie says. All of her practice paid off. Laurie passed the class after completing her final exam: she had to transcribe 35 pages of a book into braille.
Today, Lauric works for National Braille Press (NBP, 国家盲人出版社). One of her jobs is to transcribe children’s books into braille. To do this, Laurie first types the story into a computer. Then she uses a computer program to translate those words into the braille code. She needs to look over the translation three to five times to make sure there’s no mistake. After that, a copy of the braille story is printed by a special printer. Then the copy is given to Laurie and other proofreaders (校对员) to check again. When a book is ready, many copies of it are printed on a large printing machine. Then those books become available to the public. People can either buy the books through the NBP website or borrow them from the National Library Service. More than 12, 000 of the borrowers are children. “I love this job!” Laurie says. “Through my brain power and my fingers, I am putting the dots into some kid’s hands.”

Dear Jordan, I learned from the Internet that you are a young activist (活动家). What you did was so inspiring! Now I want to go out and do something to make a change in my community and become an activist myself! So I wonder: What does it take to be an activist How did you start Can I become one Yours, Carolina
Dear Carolina, Anyone can become an activist if there’s an issue they feel strongly about. I started speaking up about disabilities because I know what it was like to have one and to be treated differently because of it. When I was little, I wondered why toy figures didn’t look like me. So at the age of ten, I wrote to ask a big company to do something about this problem. I spoke about it on the news, and I even did a TED Talk about it. After more than a year of using my voice, I got to work with a design team on a Barbie doll that uses a prosthetic leg (假肢). That experience showed me that the more I spoke up, the more changes I might be able to make. Sometimes, being an activist means stepping up and speaking up in a more public way than you normally would. Taking risks is a big part of being an activist. Your age doesn’t matter. I know so many kids who are fighting for change. Mari Copeny, 13, is making sure people have safe drinking water. Haven Coleman and Taylor Richardson are both teenagers. Haven is raising awareness of climate change, and Taylor is making sure that girls around the world are involved in STEAM education. If you really care about an issue, learn as much as you can about it and find creative ways to speak up. Maybe it’s writing a letter to the editor of your local paper. Maybe it’s creating a club at your school or in your neighborhood. You can work with other kids to unite your voices so as to be able to make a change. You don’t have to do something as big as creating a new toy or speaking in front of a crowd. If you help even one person learn and change, you’ve made a big difference! Yours, Jordan Reeves

Because there’s lots of rubbish in the small park in our community. First, I would write to the leaders of my community and tell them it’s a good idea to plant some flowers in the park. Then, I would invite some friends to the park and we would spend some time collecting the rubbish and then put up some “No littering” signs in the park.

(23-24九年级下·上海浦东新·阶段练习)Answer the questions.
When you think of the cinema, the phrase “watching a movie” probably comes to mind, and, in fact, moviemakers work very hard to make the pictures wonderful. But movies also contain stories, dialogues, music, and sound effects which people don’t need to see in order to enjoy.
Movie reviewer Marty Klein has created a website called Blindspots to help blind people choose movies that they can follow without the help of an assistant to explain what is happening on the screen. Klein gives movies a rating from 1 to 10 based on several factors. A movie receives a high rating if there are only a few main characters whose voices are easy to recognize. Klein also likes an interesting story without too many changes in time and place.
Of course, blind or visually impaired people can enjoy many films with the help of a friend who doesn’t mind explaining the parts of a movie that can only be seen. But that means that someone is talking during the movie, which could annoy some audience members. To solve these problems, movie theaters provide wireless headsets with which blind people can hear a recorded narration. The narration includes descriptions of the movements, scenery, and special effects that other audience members can see on screen during the movie. This allows them to listen to the narration while still hearing a movie’s music and other sounds.
Another blind movie reviewer, Jay Forry, writes movie reviews that are published on his website, Blindside Reviews. He also writes for newspapers and is a guest on radio shows. Forry became a writer after going blind at the age of 28 and deciding to go to college. His first review appeared in the college newspaper. Forry’s writing skills and sense of humor are what keep people reading his review or listening to them on the radio. After “watching” The Sixth Sense, Forry commented that he thought the movie was excellent, but that he envied (嫉妒) the boy was the main character, “He had six senses, and I only have four.”

Did Helen help Sahra to learn English
◆特殊疑问句(what, how, when, where, why提问)
Where was the missing college student found
Why do some experts worry most about young people
How can Internet addicts solve their problem
What might be the title of this passage (In no more than TEN words)
Does Mary read space news or business news
1.读懂问题--通读全文--信息定位--准确表达--避免答非所问;
2. 注意以材料为本。无论是单词、词组、句子,还是人、物、时间、地点、原因等,都要根据文章类型准确填写;
3. 注意文章中的人称和时态,做到问答一致。考试时最常见的错误就是时态语态用错;
4. 灵活运用同义词语的替换和各种句型的不同表达;
5. 对于开放性问题的回答,应根据文章提供的素材,根据全文大意、中心思想和作者的情感、立场展开合理的想象;
6. 在对待生词的处理上,要一分为二地看待。有些不影响理解的生词(如地名,人名)可直接忽视掉。有些生词前后会出现破折号、冒号或者出现that is to say 或者that means等词时,其实就是解释说明的作用。可以注意推测出词意;
what提问 使用名词、to do、doing、句子等回答
Because, for, since, as, in order to等形式回答
In 1948./On September 19, 2004
In the park
how提问 使用形容词、副词、by doing、with……
How long提问 使用For+时间段, since+时间点或者句子,如:For two years 注:如果动词是take、spend时,时间段是动词的宾语,这时不需要介词。
Five minutes’ walk;It’s about 20 kilometers等等
I think he/she …/We need to be …/I can learn … from him/her

A Why did the student feel afraid
B Because the judge said he was wrong / he had only a few coins/ he had no money.
A. Why did Lederer ask her readers to write letters to The U.S. Congress
B. To make them pass the law.
A.Whom did Sam live with in the Wild Catskill Mountains

A.How long have you stayed in Shanghai B. For 3 years.
A. How long did it take you to go to school by bus B. 3 hours.
A. How was the food in the restaurant
B. The food was delicious/good.
Example 1. Both Eppie Lederer and Pauline Phillip love their jobs, don’t they
步骤:A.
Do both Eppei Lederer and Pauline Phillip love their jobs
Example 2 The student wasn’t happy living in the small room, was he
步骤:A.
The student was happy living in the small room.
Was the student happy living in the small room
Based on her speaking, how do we stay young, to laugh or to cry
We stay young to laugh.
As a teenager, will you run away from home Why
B Because this was just the kind of forest he always dreamed about

One day on the street, Mr. Wilson met a young man, who asked him, “Do you remember me ” Mr. Wilson said, “No.” Then the young man told him he was his student and now he was a teacher as well. Mr. Wilson asked the young man at what time he decided to be a teacher.
“Do you remember this story, Mr. Wilson ” The old man answered, “Yes. I remember the situation with the missing watch. I was looking for it in everyone’s pocket. I didn’t remember you because I closed my eyes, too. You know, young man, I gave knowledge and I also did what a teacher would do for students.”

(23-24九年级上·上海青浦·期末)My friend Maya and I always make New Year’ s resolutions (新年计划). but we can never keep them. So, last year, we decided to be “resolution partners” and write our resolutions together. We made a list of things each of us would do every single day:
New Year’s Resolutions 1 Bake something delicious. 2 . Eat super and healthy lunch. 3. Do 80 sit-ups and 50 push-ups 4. Do something big to help the planet. Maya& Jill
The next morning, I went to the kitchen at 5:45 to bake cookies. When l arrived at school, I took a bite of the cupcakes Maya made in the morning and it was delicious!
We had a difficult math test that morning, which made us extra hungry for lunch. But I had an egg, potato, orange and onion sandwich for lunch. Maya had a fish, broccoli, tomato and banana wrap (卷饼).
“Do these things really taste good ” Mike, one of our friends, asked.
Maya took the list out of the pocket and explained, “Resolution number 2 says our lunch has to be healthy, not necessarily delicious. If we’ re going to finish number 3 before the bell rings, we’ d better hurry. Luckily, we did manage to do it. Unluckily, all that exercise right after the lunch made our stomachs hurt!”
We both attended the basketball club that afternoon, plus lots of homework, so we didn’ t have time to do something big to help the planet.
“Well,” said Maya, “I guess if we’re going to have time for everything on our list, we’ re going to have to wake up even earlier. I couldn’t let my resolution partner down, so we agreed to set our alarms half an hour earlier. Even with the extra time, though, it was hard to fit everything in. Besides, we were too tired to do things well. When we had to present our book reports, we yawned (打哈欠) the whole way through.”
By Friday, we were too tired. That afternoon. Maya and I made up a whole NEW New Year’ s resolution list.
New Year’s Resolutions 1. Try to eat healthy 2. Try not to waste water, electricity, paper or plastic. 3. Try to be kind. (most important of all) Maya &Jill
Of course, we still like to bake treats (甜食) and do exercise, but not every day.

A set of photos of a boy carrying his tennis rackets in a bamboo basket has been widely spread on the Internet. The boy, Wang Fa, 14, is a member of the Va ethnic group (佤族) in Yunnan. After winning the under-14 title at the ASICS Tennis Junior Tour in Guangzhou, an audience member from Yunnan gave him the bamboo basket as a gift and the photos were taken.
“We always carry bamboo baskets when we work in the field. This is a typical farming tool of the Va ethnic group. I carried my rackets in this basket to honour (表达敬意) my hometown,” Wang said after the match.
Before tennis, Wang was only an ordinary boy from a village. But in 2016, he was chosen by a local club as one of the first 10 local children to learn to play professional tennis. “I was nervous at the beginning because the outside world was so different from my home,” he said, adding that tennis has helped him make more friends and get a better education.
Over the past six years, Wang, along with other players at the Yunnan Wild Elephants Tennis Club, has trained hard to improve his skills and physical strength. Every day, they must swing a racket more than 7,000 times and run 9 kilometers.
“If I weren’t chosen as a tennis player, I would still be helping out my family with farmwork back home,” Wang said. Wang’s parents didn’t want him to learn tennis at first because they couldn’t afford it. But the tennis club offered to teach him for free. Wang’s hometown, the mountainous Cangyuan Va autonomous county (沧源佤族自治县), was lifted out of poverty (贫穷) in 2019, reported China Daily.
For Wang, winning the ASICS Tennis Junior Tour title was the beginning of a hopeful future. “I will aim for the top spots on the professional stage,” he said.

(2024·上海嘉定·一模)Billy Ray Harris was homeless. He spent each day on the streets, begging for money or food. Every day, as he sat thinking about his life, he sometimes heard the sound of a coin or two dropping into his cup. One day, the noise was louder than usual. But he didn’t look up. A little later, when he looked into the cup, he could hardly believe what he saw. At the bottom was a big shining diamond ring.
Billy’s first thought was to go to the jeweller’s (珠宝店) and that’s exactly what he did. To his surprise, he was offered $4,000. Was this a mistake But then he thought about his grandfather His grandfather always told him to do the right thing. Billy made up his mind. He had better keep the ring and maybe one day its owner would return.
Two days later, a young woman called Sarah came and asked if he had found anything unusual in his cup. Billy reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring. When he saw the smile on Sarah’s face, he knew that he ________. She explained that she forgot putting her ring in her purse (钱包) that day.
