What will you do in the summer Here is my plan. I will volunteer at ARG(Animal Rights Group). ARG takes care of pets without a home.
Sometimes, people move away and they can't take their pets with them. Other times, people are too old or sick and they can't take care of their pets. Or sometimes, people are not nice to their pets.

care作名词时常与动词take连用, 构成短语take care，意为“小心”。
take care of 意为“照顾; 保管”，相当于look after。
※ Take care! There's a car coming towards you. 当心，有辆车朝你开来了
※ Some people take care of the elephants in the zoo.
=Some people look after the elephants in the zoo.

care n. 照料；保护；小心
【拓展】 care的不同用法:
（1）care作动词, 意为“关心；在意”。
※ I don’t care about the result. 我不在乎结果。
（2）care的形容词形式为careful，意为“小心的，仔细的”，副词形式为carefully，意为“仔细地，小心地”。
※ Be careful! Safety must come first. 小心！安全必须放到第一位。
※ Wash your hands carefully before meals. 饭前仔细洗手。
2. move away 离开，搬走
We'll miss you very much if you move away.
如果你搬走了，我们会十分想念你的。
3. take sth. with sb. 某人随身携带某物
其中take是动词，意为“携带”; with是介词，表示伴随状态。
※ I will take my camera with me. 我会带上我的相机。
4. alone adv. 独自
相当于 by oneself（独自一人），通常放在动词后面。
※ Never sail or swim alone. 永远不要独自航行或游泳。
【短语】leave... alone 不管；撇下……（一 个人）
※ Don’t leave the baby alone in the bathtub. 不要把婴儿单独留在浴缸里。
【拓展 】
alone 可用作形容词，与 be 动词连用，在句中作表语。
※ I hate being alone in the room. 我讨厌一个人待在房间里。
4. alone adv. 独自
【辨析 】 alone与lonely
alone既可以作形容词，也可以作副词。作形容词时，意思是“单独的,独自的”，通常只是表示客观上的一个人，而不表示寂寞或孤独等感彩，并且在句中只用作表语。
lonely是形容词。意思是“孤独的；寂寞的；荒凉的；偏僻的”，带有较强感彩，可用作表语或定语。
※ I travel alone, but I don’t feel lonely.我独立旅行，但我不感到孤独。
5. four times a week 一个星期四次
表示频率，常见的表示频率的词组还有 once a week、twice a month等，常用 how often (多久一次) 提问。
