be supposed to意为“应该做……”,to是不定式符号,因
此其后要跟动词原形。其否定形式为be not supposed to do
sth.,意为“不应该做某事”。
※ You are supposed to put bread on the plate.
你应该把面包放在盘子里。
shake hands意为“握手”,hands用复数形式。

be expected to do 意为“被期望或要求做……”,比be
supposed to do 客观性强一些,相当于should。
