“This is such a simple sum (算术)；don’t you know how to solve it？You silly girl!” Julie was laughing at her classmate Emily for not being able to solve an easy math sum. Head teacher Miss Susan was about to come in when she heard Julie laughing at Emily. Emily felt heartbroken and left the classroom, crying. She didn’t see Miss Susan standing there. “Julie, you shouldn’t have treated Emily like that. You know her situation. Please don’t make her feel uncomfortable and helpless like that. We are classmates!” Zack said, trying to make Julie understand the pain she caused others.

But Julie was clearly unable to understand. “I just pointed out the fact that it was a simple sum and she couldn’t even do it. She really is a stupid girl. What’s wrong with that ” Zack was upset, “This constant criticism of yours can destroy her confidence. Please try not to be so mean to her. She needs more time to understand this sum.” Julie was the bully of the class and she didn’t even realize it. She used to criticize her classmates all the time, being not aware of the damage she brought by laughing and criticizing them.
