“This is such a simple sum (算术);don’t you know how to solve it?You silly girl!” Julie was laughing at her classmate Emily for not being able to solve an easy math sum. Head teacher Miss Susan was about to come in when she heard Julie laughing at Emily. Emily felt heartbroken and left the classroom, crying. She didn’t see Miss Susan standing there. “Julie, you shouldn’t have treated Emily like that. You know her situation. Please don’t make her feel uncomfortable and helpless like that. We are classmates!” Zack said, trying to make Julie understand the pain she caused others.
But Julie was clearly unable to understand. “I just pointed out the fact that it was a simple sum and she couldn’t even do it. She really is a stupid girl. What’s wrong with that ” Zack was upset, “This constant criticism of yours can destroy her confidence. Please try not to be so mean to her. She needs more time to understand this sum.” Julie was the bully of the class and she didn’t even realize it. She used to criticize her classmates all the time, being not aware of the damage she brought by laughing and criticizing them.
One day, when Emily fell outside the class, Julie started laughing at her rather than helping her. “You can’t even walk properly. Silly!” Miss Susan wanted to make Julie understand the pain she brought to others. The next day, while giving the lecture, Miss Susan called Julie, “Julie! Come and solve this question, please.”
Julie was extremely shocked because she didn’t know the solution. She became nervous and uneasy, with face burning red. Miss Susan laughed at her, “Julie, it’s such a simple question. Why can’t you work it out ”

Julie
Emily Susan Zack
(Julie said sorry to her classmates)合理衔接,第一段续写的最后部分应该明确表示Julie意识到了自己的错误。
Paragraph 1: Julie started crying. Her tears were a mixture of guilt and realization. Miss Susan's stern voice cut through the tension. "Julie," she said, "do you understand the impact of your words on Emily " Julie nodded silently. "You have a responsibility to treat others with kindness and respect," Miss Susan continued. Her words struck a chord in Julie's heart, finally making her realize the gravity of her actions. It was a moment for Julie to know that she had become the very thing she despised—a bully. (83 words)
Paragraph 2: Julie said sorry to her classmates, especially Emily. Her apology echoed Zack's earlier words, as she finally understood the damage her constant criticism had caused. With each word of remorse, Julie aimed to heal the wounds she had opened with her thoughtless actions. Emily recognized the sincerity in Julie's apology and thus chose to accept it. In that moment, a flicker of hope ignited within the classroom. It was a moment of forgiveness and empathy, a step towards healing the wounds of the past. (76 words)
