Teaching Aims:
In this period students will be helped to build their word power and structure power.
Teaching Important Points:
Review the Attributive Clause and learn to use the relative pronouns: who, whom, which, that and whose.
Teaching Difficult Points:
How to help the students master the usage of the relative pronouns: who, whom, which, that and whose.
Teaching methods:
1. Task-based teaching.
2. Individual work, pair work and group work to get all involved in the class.

Teaching procedures:
Step 1. leading in with an English song titled “ that is why you go away”, students guess the grammar we are going to talk about.
Love is one big illusion(假象) I should try to forget.

Step 2. introduction of the definition & important terms
What is attributive clause? And its functions
He is an English teacher (who likes singing songs).
Relative words: relative pronouns & relative adverbs and their functions
who，whom，whose, which, that, where, when, why
Example by joining the following two sentences into one:
A plane is a machine. The machine can fly.
A plane is a machine that can fly.
The girl is Mary. We saw her yesterday.
The girl we saw yesterday is Mary.
Step 3. presentation of sentences with attributive clauses ( pictures of my daughter)

Step 4. finding the rules of attributive clause& studying the rules through the task of error correction
