heavily 副词,意为“在很大程度上;大量地”。其形容词形式为heavy。heavy和heavily常用来说明雨、雪下得大。
It is raining heavily. 雨正下得很大。

3. I called at seven and you didn’t pick up.
我七点钟给你打电话,你没接。
pick up 此处意为“接电话”(=answer the phone/ telephone)。它是由“动词+副词”构成的短语,可接名词或代词作宾语,
代词作其宾语时,要用其宾格形式且必须放在pick与up中间。
【拓展】pick up 还有“捡起来,接(人)”的意思。
