形容词比较级一般用在比较两个人或事物的时候。形容词最高级表示三者或三者以上（人或物）的比较, 其中有一个超过其他几个。
形容词最高级前要加the，后面通常带of (in)短语来说明比较的范围(of 后的名词或代词表示与主语属同一类；in 表示时间或空间范围)。

重读闭音节、末尾只有一个辅音字母双写加 -er 或 -est

一、the+形容词/副词最高级+in/of/among+比较范围
该句型中，副词最高级前的the可以省略。in表示“在某一范围内”，如in the classroom，in the world。of表示“在同类之中”，of后面的词与主语同类。among表示“在三者或三者以上之中”，among后接名词或代词。
Eric is the tallest of the six students.
埃里克是六个学生中最高的。

one of 有三大考点：
①后跟形容词最高级；
②后接可数名词复数形式；
③作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
