一、教学目标
通过本课时学习，学生能够： 1. 以本场戏剧中的主要人物的视角复述故事； 2. 谈论自己对主要人物和这场打赌的看法。
二、教学重难点
【重点】 以本场戏剧中的主要人物的视角复述故事。 【难点】 谈论自己对主要人物和这场打赌的看法。
三、教学活动设计
环节一：回顾话题，激活已知（10 mins） 展示上节课优秀作业，回顾上节课所学内容。
教学活动 1. Ss share their homework of last period. 2. Ss complete the passage with words from Act 1, Scene 3. (教材第53页活动5） 活动层次 学习理解之感知与注意 效果评价 学生能够根据前面课时的学习和表演内容，完成文段填空。
环节设计意图：激活已知，激发思考，为后续学习做准备。
环节二：阅读剧本，复述故事（20 mins） 学生阅读课文，以自己扮演角色的角度，梳理故事发展，绘制思维导图并复述故事。
教学活动 3. Ss read and draw a mind map to show the development of the story from the view of the roles they play and share in groups. 活动层次 应用实践之概括与整合 效果评价 学生能够从自己扮演的角色视角出发，理解概括和整合故事情节发展，绘制思维导图并与大家分享。
教学活动 4. Ss retell the story with the help of their mind maps. 活动层次 应用实践之内化与运用 效果评价 学生能够根据自己绘制的思维导图，以自己所扮演角色的角度复述故事。
环节设计意图: 学生通过阅读充分内化语言，并从自己所扮演角色的角度复述故事，引导学生能从不同视角回顾故事，体会不同人物的性格，为进一步批判性思考各人物的价值观奠定基础。
环节三：点评人物，谈论看法（15 mins） 学生选取印象深刻的人物，表达自己的看法，并和同伴谈论自己对这次打赌的看法。
