Step 1 Warming-up
Work on Activity 1. What would you do if you had a million-pound bank note Discuss the question in pairs.

Step 2 Pre-reading
Look at the picture and think about the following questions.
1. What movie is the picture about
2. What do you know about this story
设计意图：通过问题激活学生的背景知识。
Step 3 While-reading
1. Read the whole passage and complete the table.

While walking outside the two brothers' house

(4) Well, it may seem lucky to you but not to me! If this is your idea of some kind of joke. I don’t think it’s very funny.
