学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级下册第四单元,本单元主题是“At the farm” ,主要通过展示学生参观农场的情景,学习部分蔬菜和动物的单词,学习如何询问这些动、植物的名称和数量。能够运用What are these They are ... They are so ...和句型Are these ...Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.来询问和描述事物的特点。四年级的学生,学生已有的相关背景知识有颜色单词、体形外貌形容词、数词等,这些背景知识结合本单元的蔬菜和动物整合运用,通过知识的不断滚动形成知识链。教师在教学过程中可以借助课件、网络资源、图片、实物、教材等多种方式呈现,采用游戏、儿歌、表演等多种教学方法操练,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生灵活运用语言的能力。
二、单元整体设计思路

语篇研读(附图)
本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过讲述Zip带领Zoom参观自家的农场, Zip向Zoom介绍了农场里的蔬菜、奶牛、母鸡、绵羊等,但是Zoom却对它们都不感兴趣, Zoom喜欢牛奶、鸡蛋、鸡肉和羊肉串。到了中午的时候,它们坐在草垛里休息,并-起用稻草做了一 个帽子,但是最后Zoom的帽子被奶牛当作食物吃掉了。故事通过它们之间的对话突出了Zoom憨态可掬的形象,故事结局出人意料,趣味性很强。 从而把整个单元中的词汇句型连接起来, 在情境中运用词汇和句型。
教学过程
