二、句型及语法
1. An interesting country 一个有趣的国家
以元音因素开头的单词前，表示一个的意思时用“an”。
元音字母：a、e、i、o、u（u在发元音时）
interesting 有趣的 （通常情况下修饰物）
interested 有趣的 （通常情况下修饰人）
This is an interesting football match.
He is an interested boy.
country （复数形式）：countries
【拓展】：country 乡村、国家
2. The children will learn about Australia next week. 下周孩子们将要学习有关澳大利亚的知识。
一般将来时除了“be going to”这种构成形式之外，还有“will”引导的另一种构成形式。will引导一般将来时，表示将来发生的动作或存在的状态，最基本的结构是“will+动词原形”，这点和“be going to+动词原形”用法相同。
will表示将来，没有人称和数的变化，即不管主语是单数还是复数，都用will，并且可以缩写：I will = I’ll ; we will = we’ll; you will =you’ll; they will = they’ll; he will = he’ll; she will = she’ll。而be going to 结构be动词随着人称的变化而变化。
如：He’ll ask Mr Green tomorrow.
They’ll find out about this country next week.
【注】：一般将来时的两种构成形式可以互换。
如：You’ll find many interesting things in Australia.
=You are going to find many interesting things in Australia.
be going to 含有“有计划、有迹象”的意思，而will没有。
3. They want to find out about this country before the lessons. 他们想在课前找到有关这个国家的情况。
want sb. / sth. 想要某人 / 某物
want to do sth. 想要做某事 = would like to do
want sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事
【拓展】：I want to be a good cook. （想要成为…）
4. I’ll ask my e-friend in Australia. 我将问一问澳大利亚的网友。
in Australia 意为“在澳大利亚”；介词in + 国家/ 城市/ 早中晚/ 季节/ 年份/ 月份
【拓展】：ask sb. / sth. 意为“询问某人/ 某事” May I ask a question
ask sb. sth. 意为“询问某人某事” The visitor asked me the way to the station.
ask sb. about sth. 意为“询问某人关于某事” She often asks Miss Li about music.
ask sb. to do sth. 意为“要求某人做某事” The teacher asked them to sweep the floor.
5. She can send me some photos. 她可以发一些照片给我。
send后常接双宾语，即send sb. sth. ， 也可用send sth. to sb.。
（同义句转换）： She can send some photos to me.
【拓展】：give sb. sth = give sth to sb;
show sb sth = show sth to sb
6. He comes from Australia. 他来自澳大利亚。
come from …意为“来自…” = be from
（同义句转换）He is from Australia.
【注】：两句的句型转化要注意格式，助动词及be动词的用法。
7. I’ll go to the library and look for books and magazines about Australia. 我将去图书馆找有关澳大利亚的书和杂志。
look for 意为“寻找”，强调寻找的过程
find意为“找到，发现”，强调寻找的结果
