教材分析
本课是一节写作课和复习课。主要复习和巩固本单元中的重点词汇、短语并灵活运用;尝试写相关的话题作文。活动3a呈现了鲸鱼的相关信息,要求学生根据六个问题将信息归类填入表格,为3b的写作做准备。活动3b要求学生运用3a的内容写一段描写鲸鱼的说明文,并说一说为什么需要保护鲸鱼,再制作成海报。
学情分析
在前面几课时的学习中,学生对于单元主题下的语篇理解及语言结构表达有了充分的积累学习,积累了本单元大量的写作素材,为本课时的开展做好准备。同时,通过前面有计划、有目的、系统的写作训练,学生逐渐对初中英语写作的方法和策略有所了解。本课时话题贴近学生生活,通过前面的学习,学生已基本掌握了相关语言知识,本课时关键是学生语言的输出,对学生有点难度。
课时教学目标
语言能力:学习和巩固词汇短语句型:wale; oil; protection; huge; water pollution; be protected等;复习比较级用法。 学习能力:获取鲸鱼的基本知识及其生存现状。就如何保护鲸鱼书写一篇说明文。能根据提示书写濒危动物的文章。 文化意识:能够在老师的帮助下,通过学习,多层次、多角度、多元化地内化有关“环境保护”的语言知识;在写作中,注意到语篇的整体性、结构性、逻辑性; 文化意识:通过对濒危动物现状的了解,进一步増强保护动物,保护自然环境的意识。

教学重点:获取鲸鱼的基本知识及其生存现状,就如何保护鲸鱼书写一篇说明文;写作能力的训练,如能流畅且有逻辑性地组织句子,合理安排语篇结构。 教学难点:内化并正确运用所学语言知识,运用英语思维进行习作,并注意到语篇的整体性、结构性、逻辑性。
