1.—What are you doing —I'm watching TV.
——你在做什么？——我在看电视。
（1）这是现在进行时的特殊疑问句，用来询问某人正在做什么，
其句式为“疑问词+be（am/is/are）+主语+动词-ing形式？”。现在进行时
表示现在正在进行的动作或存在的状态，其谓语动词由“be（am/is/are）
+动词的现在分词（动词-ing形式）”构成。
例：—What is she doing —She is making soup.
——她在做什么？——她在煮汤。
（2）辨析：watch、see、look与read。
词语 词义 例子
watch 意为“观看”，强调 看的内容和过程 Tom likes watching football games.汤
姆喜欢看足球比赛。
see 意为“看见”，强调 看的结果 I can see the bird in the tree.我可以
看到树上的鸟。
look 意为“看”，强调看 的动作，后跟at Please look at the blackboard.请看黑
板。
read 意为“阅读”，表示 读书、报纸等 She is reading a book.她在看书。
2.Hello This is Jenny.喂？我是珍妮。
这是打电话的常用语，“This is Jenny.”相当于“This is Jenny
speaking.”。在英语中，打电话时一般用this表示“我”，用that 表示对方，
而不用I或You。
打电话用语小结：
Who's that （speaking） 你是谁？ Who's speaking 谁在讲话？
May/Could I speak to... 请……接电话好吗？
Is that...（speaking） 你是……吗？
This is... （speaking）.我是…… Speaking, please. 请讲话。

三、语法聚焦。
现在进行时
1.定义：表示现在正在进行的动作或存在的状态。
2.谓语构成：“am/is/are+动词-ing形式”。
例：I'm watching TV now.我现在正在看电视。
3.动词-ing形式的构成。
（1）一般情况下在动词的词尾加-ing，如go—going、ask—asking、
look—looking。
（2）以不发音的e结尾的动词，去掉e加-ing，如have—having、
take—taking。
（3）以重读闭音节结尾、末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词，双写最
后一个字母，再加“-ing”，如get—getting、sit—sitting、put—putting、
run—running、swim—swimming。
4.现在进行时的肯定句、否定句、疑问句及简略回答。
（1）肯定句：“主语+be+动词-ing形式+其他.”。
例：She is singing in the next room.她正在隔壁房间里唱歌。
（2）否定句：“主语+be+not+动词-ing形式+其他.”。
例：The students aren't cleaning the room.学生们不在打扫教室。
（3）一般疑问句：将be动词提前至句首。肯定答语为
“Yes，主语+be.”，否定答语为“No，主语+be not.”。
例：—Are you playing computer games —Yes，I am./No，I am
not.
——你在玩电脑游戏吗？——是的，我在玩。/不，我不在玩。
（4）特殊疑问句：“疑问词+be+主语+doing+其他？”。
例：What is the old man doing under the tree 那个老人正在树
下做什么？
5.现在进行时的标志词。
（1）句中有now、at the moment等副词或句首有“Look！”“Listen!”
等提示语时，说明动作正在进行，要用现在进行时。
例：Listen! He is reading.听！他正在朗读。
（2）前面有表示钟点的时间（如“It's 8 o'clock.”）时，提示动作正
在进行，这时要用现在进行时。
例：It's six o'clock. My mother is cooking breakfast.现在是6点钟。
我妈妈正在做早饭。
（3）根据语境或上下文理解，可知动作正在进行，要用现在进行时。
例：Don't make a noise. The baby is sleeping.别出声。那个婴儿
正在睡觉。
