Unit 7 It’s raining . 单元整体教学设计
单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与自然”范畴。本单元通过学习描述天气,了解不同天气进行的活动,天气与假期活动,天气与旅行计划一系列任务,让学生了解不同地区的天气,理解天气对人们活动的影响,理解天气对人们生活的影响,增加世界观。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:描述不同地区的天气并谈论相关话题。 目标b: 描述在不同的天气条件下人们正在进行的活动,理解天气对人们活动的影响。 目标c: 正确使用一般现在时和现在进行时。 目标d: 攥写有关假期生活的明信片并给出去某地旅行最佳时机的建议。 与核心素养的关系: 通过本单元话题的相关内容的学习,学生能够在各种语言实践活动,通过听说读看写活动中,通过听说读看写等训练,准确获取有关天气和人们正在做的事情方面的信息,学会与人探讨、交流和表达自我观点和看法,进行合理推测,有逻辑、辩证地、创新性表达个人看法,实现知识与思维能力的迁移。
整体教学思路及教学结构图 1.来源& 内容: 本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it !七年级下册的第七单元。本单元围绕 “谈论天气”涉及两个语言功能项目:一是运用句型 “How’s the weather ”及描述天气情况的形容词来谈论不同城市的天气状况;二是描述人们的即时活动或一段时间内正在进行的动作或状态。语法上继续学习运用现在进行时来描述人们的即时动作,并接触现在进行时的另一用法,既表示一段时间内正在进行是动作或状态。 2.纵向知识关联: 功能: Describe the weather &describe what people are doing 话题: The weather 语言知识: 以读看写等方式简单描述人们正在进行的活动。 b.用更丰富的语言问候,用所学语言谈论天气,能通过观察图片预测听力内容,学会边听边做笔记,记录关键词。 c 能了解明信片的问题特点并尝试攥写。 3.横向知识关联: (1 )从内容上看,八年级上册U1 Where did you go on vacation 这一单元中提到假期去过去地方,这会自然而然地谈到天气,这是七下U7的内容在其他话题中的应用。 (2)七年级下册U5学习了描述动物的形容词,这一单元还将学习描述天气的形容词,二者都是形容词的学习,但内容上有拓展。 教学结构图:

教材(语篇)分析: 【what】 本节课是一节读写课。 【why】 3a-3c的重点是写做教学,3a活动设计有两个目的,一是进一步从笔头上帮助学生巩固内化本单元所学,二是作为3c任务的示范,供学生进行仿写。 【how】 本课中3a是一个填写明信片的控制性练习,将描述天气,与天气有关的服饰穿着及人们以语篇的形式呈现,3b以回答问题的形式介绍攥写明信片的要素,为后面3c的开放性写作做铺垫。Self Check 部分旨在复习检测学生对本单元功能句及重点词汇的运用,在本部分教学中,教师应指导学生运用小组合作的学习策略进行互助纠错。教师在课堂设计时应设计有去的课堂任务引导学生进行自主学习和语言实践,利用渗透学法,任务教学法,引导学生祝福养成良好的学习习惯。
学情分析: 自然情况 本课是本单元的练习课,经过之前四个课时的学习,学生已经基本掌握了现在进行时的用法。 (二)已有基础 能较熟练地掌握了部分句型。
(三)存在问题
一些学生还存在单词背诵较薄弱,句型掌握不牢的情况。 (四)解决措施 教师一方面要加强基础功能句型的务实,另一方面也要考虑到学习过程中耐性不足的问题。
教学目标: 通过本课学习,学生能够: 帮助学生正确使用下列词汇和常用表达: skate , snowy, winter , Russian , rainy (学习理解) 能够运用本单元所学的主要功能句从天气情况、正从事的活动及心情状况等方面较详细地介绍自己的假期。 (应用实践) 3. 能对英语学习有持续的兴趣和较为明确的学习需求与目标, 彼此间增进了解,加深友谊。(迁移创新)
教学重难点 重点:明信片的文体特点及如何介绍自己的假期。 难点:现在进行时表示一段时间内正在进行的动作或状态。
