Talk about the video and the characters in the story. 2.Retell the story of Alice in Reading to lead the students into the plot of Alice in Wonderland. Step 2 Presentation 1. Listen and answer: What actually happened to Alice 2. Read and answer some detail questions. 3. Put the sentences into the correct order. 4. Writing skills (1) Make an outline to organize ideas before writing. (2) Write more details to make the story interesting. (3) Use conjunctions to make your story read better. (4) Use some adverbs to make your story vivid. 5. Writing skills training. Match the underlined parts with the correct writing skills. Step 3 Preparation 1. Encourage the students to express their own ideas by answering : What will Alice do next Why 2. Talk about the questions in Part B in groups. Write down the ideas. 3. Offer the students some characters from the story to help the students create their own stories. 【拓展提高】 Step 4 Writing 1. Write their own stories in groups. Give the students some help and guidance. Assess group members’ stories. Try to find out what writing skills are used in the stories. Choose the most interesting story in the group and share with everybody. 2. Invite some groups to share their writings with the class. Give suitable advice and assessment. Ask some students to evaluate the writings. 3. Offer the students a sample writing. 3. Get the students to think about how to become a good writer. (Emotion aims) 4. Introduce some famous authors in China and make the students feel proud of the culture of our country.
