You won’t get good grades if you are stressed out all the time. 三.能掌握本课时重点词汇和句型,能熟练谈论压力,并给出合理建议。能通过图片对听力内容进行预测、给出合理建议并做出选择, 能听懂有关压力的问题及解决方法, 听过听说训练,能正确使用情态动词should表达建议或劝告。 四.能以角色扮演的形式,用正确的语音语调运用所学句型进行对话。
教学内容
教学重点: 1. 能掌握本课时重点词汇和句型,能熟练谈论压力,并给出合理建议。 2. 能通过图片对听力内容进行预测、给出合理建议并做出选择, 能听懂有关压力的问题及解决方法, 听过听说训练,能正确使用情态动词should表达建议或劝告。 教学难点: 能以角色扮演的形式,用正确的语音语调运用所学句型进行对话。
教学过程
Step1. Let’s guess: At first, play a guessing game. Give students four sentences and then guess the word. Stress——It is pressure or worry caused by the problems in sb’s life. Step2. Let’s listen Look, he is Wei Ming. He is so sad. Q: Do you know what happened to him Yes, he’s under pressure. Now, listen and find out what his problems are. Here are five sentences. Before listening, read the sentences by yourself, then listen and check the problems Wei Ming talks about. Tip: While you are listening, please focus on the key words. Q: So what problems does Wei Ming have Check the answer: His parents give him a lot of pressure about school. He doesn’t have enough free time. And he has to compete with his classmates. 解释compete: If you compete with someone for something, you try to get it for yourself, and be more successful or better than him or her. Step3. Let’s listen Q: We know the problems Wei Ming has. What should he do Can you give him some advice Q: What advice does his friend Alice give to him Listen again and fill in the blanks. Let’s explore Read after the tape, underline the problems Wei Ming has. find out the sentences about advice. Q: Could you find out more sentences to give advice -Why don’t you... -Why not.. -Maybe you should/could... -How about.. Q: What do you think of her advice useful. Q: What kind of girl is she -She is a clever, helpful, patient and nice girl. What does Wei Ming think of her advice (Find out the sentences.) -I totally agree/You’re right... It’s important to give response and be polite. Step4. Let’s talk Pressure is everywhere, but we can relieve it in many ways. Do you have problems in your daily life Talk to your partner and ask for advice. Here are some phrases and patterns to help you. We know all kinds of pressures, do you like pressure Why or why not Let’s think and discuss. Some people think pressure can make us study harder and help realize our dream. But some hate it, they think it is bad for our health and students may lost interest in learning. Different people have different ideas, but the most important thing is that we should learn to relieve stress and live a balanced life. Step5. Homework Oral work: Role-play the conversation in 1c. Written work: Write 3 conversations about your problems and your friends’ advice.
