并列复合句
并列复合句是指由两个或两个以上的简单句构成连在一起而构成的句子。两个简单句常由并列连词连在一起。但有时不用连词,只在两个简单句之间用一分号隔开。并列连词前后的简单句如果有相同部分,则后句的相同部分可以省略。常用词组有not only…but also…, either…or…, neither…nor…, not…but…, both…and…等。

使用并列复合句要注意的几种情况:
(1)并列复合句有时可不用连词,而是用分号隔开(前后句之间的关系须相当紧密)。例如:
We fished all day; we did not catch a single fish.
我们钓了一整天鱼,但一条鱼都没有钓到。
(2)并列连词后面的简单句如果与前面的简单句有相同的部分,则相同的部分可省略。例如:

学情分析
(一)自然情况本模块话题是谈论参加国外的暑假英语课程,这个话题对于部分地区的学生来说可能比较陌生,学生的背景知识和视野都比较狭窄,所以需要教师通过报刊、杂志、网络等多种学习资源为学生提供背景知识。(二)已有基础学生对于捕捉关键词、关键句的策略已经基本掌握,可在听力中适当设计体验推理策略的任务。本模块的话题会偏向于旅游,学生基本上会有旅游的经历,因此分享环节比较好设定。本模块语法重点是but、and、or引导的并列复合句,在上一模块学习了简单句的基础上进行,易理解和掌握。存在问题学生对于暑假课程不陌生,对于夏令营可能就会比较陌生,对于国外的暑假夏令营中的英语课程就更陌生。学生对于此方面的生活经验就比较少,有必要在情景中让学生去体验。(四)解决措施本模块主要谈论的是参加国外的暑期英语课程,但是文本中涉及的内容有一小部分是与“旅行”相关,因此在本模块的教学中会渗透思维导图的作用,引导学生去分享旅行计划、旅行经验、旅行见闻等等,让学生对于本话题有一个充分的架构;另外积极的小组合作对于本模块的教学也非常重要,教师应积极鼓励学生用英语阐述自己的观点和看法,学生应聆听他人的观点,并对信息进行分类整理从而得出结论,进而提高语言综合运用能力。
