Lesson 35 The Dream Team
教学设计
一、语篇研读
What:本课语篇是一篇说明文,在介绍各国的“梦之队”。让学生们体会到一支梦之队不仅要有最优秀的运动员、教练员,还要有最好的团队精神。而我们在学习和生活中也要具有合作精神。
Why:本课结合学生平时对奥运会的了解,以一些体育明星来引出各个“梦之队”,使学生乐于去接触并了解异国文化。更使学生感受到奥运健儿的那种努力拼搏,不断超越自己的精神。在学习生活中培养团队合作精神。
How:本课第一部分谈论了享誉世界的“梦之队”---美国的篮球队,加拿大的冰球队,巴西的足球队及排球队,以及中国的跳水队,乒乓球队及羽毛球队。第二部分谈论怎样成为“梦之队”,引导学生如何成为优秀班集体,从而培养他们的团队精神及集体荣誉感。
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
1.掌握课标要求的词汇:gold, influence, coach, defeat, medal, Brazil, diving, badminton;dream team, have an fluence on, time after time。
2.掌握描述体育队伍的相关词汇与语句,并就自己喜欢的梦之队进行简单介绍。
3.通过听说、读说相结合,借助思维导图、给出关键词等,复述文本内容,理解本课内容。
4.掌握本课主要语法知识点,运用相关的语言表达方式,更好的理解课文内容。
三、教学过程(依据教学目标设计教学活动)
【教学目标】1.掌握课标要求的词汇:gold, influence, coach, defeat, medal, Brazil, diving, badminton;dream team, have an fluence on, time after time。
【教学活动】

【设计意图】通过图片展示和提问中国的梦之队,激发学生对本课的学习兴趣,同时可以检测学生的课外积累情况,引出本课节的话题The dream team(梦之队),引入教材THINK ABOUT IT的学习。
【教学目标】2.学习描述一些体育队伍的相关词汇与语句,借助听说活动,有效提高听、说及阅读的能力。

注意:他后面的人或集体需是宾语

(3)A dream team is considered to be the greatest team in its field.
consider sb. /sth. to be 认为……是……
be considered to be 被认为是……
consider doing sth.考虑做……
(4) A dream team has not only the best players and the best coach,but also the best team spirit.
not only…but also… 不但……而且……
not only...but also...可连接相同的句子成分或并列句。当其连接两个并列主语时, 句子的谓语动词遵循“就近原则”, 即谓语动词的形式与but also 后的主语在人称和数上保持一致。
