There be 句型
1.There be 句型主要用来表达“某时或某处有某人或某物”。其基本句型为“there be+某人/物+某时/地”。在there be句型中，there只是一个引导词，没有实义，句子的主语是“某人或某物”；而“某事或某处”是句子的状语，通常为介词短语。
※There is a football under the chair. 椅子下面有一个足球。
注意：有时为了强调地点，可将介词短语置于句首。
※In the tree, there are five birds. 树上有五只鸟。
2.There be 句型中be动词的用法
（1）there be句型中的谓语动词be在人称和数上应与其后的主语保持一致。主语是不可数名词或者单数名词时用is，是复数名词时用are。
※ There is some milk in the bottle.瓶子里有一些牛奶。
※ There is a flower in the bottle.瓶子里有一朵花。
※ There are many pens in the box.盒子里有许多钢笔。
（2）若句子中有几个并列的主语时，要遵循“就近原则”，即be动词的形式要与其最近的一个主语在人称和数上保持一致。
※ There is a boy ,a girl and two women in the house.房子里有一个男孩，一个女孩和两个妇女。
※ There are ten students and a teacher in the office.办公室里有是个学生和一个教师。
There be 句型的各种句式
（1）否定句：there be 句型的否定形式通常是在be动词后面直接加not构成（在口语中be时常与not缩写在一起）。如果句中有some，一般要变成any。
※There are some children in the picture.图片中有一些孩子。其否定句为：
There aren’t any children in the picture.图片中没有孩子。
（2）一般疑问句及其回答：将be动词提到句首，首字母大写，且句末用问号。其肯定答语是Yes, there is/are.;否定答语为No, there isn’t/aren’t.。
※Are there two books on the desk 桌子上有两本书吗？
Yes, there are.是的，有。/No, there aren’t. 不，没有。
（3）特殊疑问句及其回答
①对句子的主语（包括主语前的修饰语）提问时，句型结构一律用“What’s is +地点介词短语？”。
※There are some birds in the tree.在树上有一些鸟。

②对there be 后面的地点状语进行提问时，句型结构用“Where is/are+主语？”
※There is a car in the street. 在街上有一辆小汽车。

③对可数名词（主语）前的数量提问时，用how many，句型结构用“How many +复数名词+are there + 其他？”（主语无论是单数还是复数，be通常都用are）。
※There are three women in the room. 房间里有三位女士。

注意：there be 句型和have的区别，there be 表示某时或某地有某人或某物，have 表示某人有某物 (它表示所有、拥有关系)。
