2. Develop good reading habits,understand the meaning of those traditional stories .
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up 1.Daily greeting. 2.Watch a video about Yu Gong. Step 2 Presentation Retell the story of Yu Gong Moves a Mountain according to the following questions. Q1:Who is the main character of the story Q2:How does the story begin Q3:Why was Yu Gong trying to move the mountains Q4:What happened next Q5:What’s the end of the story Q6:What does the story tell us 2.Learn the usage of “as soon as” “so...that” and “unless”.
3.Retell the whole story by filling in the blanks with the conjunctions we learned. Step3 Practice 1.Work on 4a. Fill in the blanks with unless, as soon as or so ... that. 2.Teach the new words stepsister,prince,fall in love with ,fit,couple,smile, get married. 3.It’s the story of Cinderella. 4.Work on 4b. Fill in the blanks with the correct forms. Pay attention to the tense. 5.Check the answers and answer the questions. Q1:Who is the main character Q2:Why is he wonderful Q3:What abilities does he have Q4:How do children like him Step4 Production 1.Today we have known three stories.
